I'm bring in 2 ctrs. One of them is Croker so who do you like as the 2nd option:
    (a) L. Mitchell or
    (b) Hurrell

It has to be L. Mitchell based on byes doesn't it. Thanks.

Yeah, definitely Latrell. Nobody else to choose from?

I'm a bit iffy on Latrell myself but what other round 12 ctr is there. They're all as inconsistent as each other.

Anyone care to give me some advice on my next moves? Not sure if CNK or MWZ are decent subs to hold Norman so might have to flick him as much as I'd like to hold.

    Smith, Cook
    Vaughan, Fifi, Kaufusi, Hoare
JDB, whitehead, McGuire, CHN, Crichton, Stone
    SJ, Norman, CNK, nuffie
    Croker, Leilua, Suli, Idris
    Hayne, RTS, Walker, MWZ, Abbey

    $60k in the bank.

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks mate. He is worth considering but doesn't seem to have a high ceiling like Latrell.

Cheers mate. There's a good chance that Roberts is T-Trbo's replacement re origin so I'm hesitant bringing him in. I did consider Fuimaono but I'd have to play him & he could end up only playing 10-15 minutes off the bench.

Latrell is worth a punt i say, as you say he has a high ceiling and plays for a gun team and has good byes and don't forget there is no SKD around for the time being. About the best you can ask for from the tricky CTR position.

Yeah I see your predicament. I would be focusing on bringing in some round 12 forward guns from now on. I know J. Graham will be a round 12 target but you also need get the likes of Surgess, Gallen & N. Brown. To hold Norman you could just swap C. Walker & CNK around & play CNK or MWZ as your 3rd wfb this week. Maybe this week McGuire to Surgess, Gallen or N. Brown. On Norman he's predicted to be out for 6 weeks so I would be tempted to sell him.

I assume you're playing for overall?  then surely you want to maximise the point upgrade to your team that you run out this week.  If you don't trade for SJ and Croker, you'll play say Frawley or Lamb and Kelly?  On a normal night, that's around 35-40 points you're not picking up.  You can always get Fui next week, admittedly for a higher price.

You're right mate, I'm obvioulsy thinking too much into it but two straight swaps is probably what I have to do.  Having Kaufusi and Ponga along with Norman and Turbo is just a fucker.  Anyone else got all four of those like I do haha?

    Smith Brailey
    Fifita Wallace Kaufusi Yates
Surgess Brown Bodene Crichton CHN Elliot
    Norman Niko Lamb Frawley
    SMat Turbo Kelly Idris
    RTS Slater Cotric Suli Ponga

    ugh!

I'd love to hold Norman too mate but I think it's almost impossible without losing points in the long run.  CNK relies on tries so he's risky but I didn't mind the look of MWZ, I think he'll be okay if Tigers can obviously play better than last week.  Looks like you may need a Brown, Gallen, Graham or Surgess for next week as you'll only have 1 forward. I'd definitely look at Kaufusi to one of those.

J-Moz is the 5th highest scoring CTR just to put it out there. Hopoate is also putting up some decent numbers

I have an idea, tell me if I'm insane or a genius.  I have 22 trades and 112K.  Obviously there's some problems there after last week.

    Smith Brailey
    Fifita Wallace Kaufusi Yates
Surgess Brown Bodene Crichton CHN Elliot
    Norman Niko Lamb Frawley
    SMat Turbo Kelly Idris
    RTS Slater Cotric Suli Ponga

    Looking at straight swapping Norman and Tommy to maybe SJ and Croker but hear me out.  Kaufusi needs to go and Fui looking like a good option.  Hear me out, what if I go;

    Kaufusi - Fui via Brown
Idris, maybe Kelly cause he sucks - Croker

Would give me an extra two players for next week.  My points will suffer this week because if Hunt is back I'll have to play Lamb and Frawley, but funds are maximised by the Kaufusi to Fui trade, then I can get Graham next week for Tommy hopefully a bit cheaper and even SJ has a BE of 64, there's a chance he could be slightly cheaper for Norman next week too.  I'd have tons of money left over too. Even could get Walker next week instead to see what's happening with him.

Smart or taking too much of a hit for the sake of being a scrooge?

Good suggestions mate. The Bulldogs are so up & down it's like they're bipolar so I'm hesitant getting any of their backs. I do like Hopoate but at 396k he's out of my range & I'm not sure I would spend that amount of money on him.

@ Wolfking. I wouldn't delay getting rid of Norman & T-Trbo & I would make your suggested trades & bring in SJ & Croker.

I was hoping Mary would of named Field in the starting team this week because against the Warriors I would of played him over Lamb. But as usual he's gone for the conservative approach & brought in Fafai Loa. The fact that Field is a much better player than FFL doesn't seem to register with Mary.

Good to see you getting involved mate & welcome to the family. I think if you have decent & adequate cover for Ponga then I would hold on to him. As you pointed out Coote could go down at any time but I think at some point you'll have to let Ponga go. Maybe give Coote a couple of games & if he remains uninjured then flick Ponga. Unfortunately I have to sell Ponga this week to strengthen my crap ctrs.
