who/what value has been the most expensive player in the history of fantasy?
Smith started the season at $631k, don't think anyone has been more expensive than that. Maybe Jake Friend for a couple of weeks last year?

Just don't understand it sometimes.
We currently have a bunch of players suspended for drug offences. Matty John's show just had a good old laugh about Hindy being a pot head. And that everyone who plays NRL loves coke
And players that get caught are expected to pretend they've made some life ruining mistake?

It's hard to compare because the salary cap has gone up slightly every year.
Need to work out an inflation adjusted highest price ever

Wasn't Hindy smashing someone the other day for taking drugs?Milchcow wrote:

If rec drug use was de-criminalised and viewed as a health issue (something i agree 100% with), would the general public then have a problem with it?
Alcohol in excess is a destructive drug but its legal and freely available. Coke in excess is a destructive drug but it is "illegal". Weed is just, well, you might cook yourself a bit i spose.

Listening to Down on The Upside right now from Soundgarden.
Brailey was solid tonight, although those missed tackles at the end got him away from the 50. My plan was to upgrade him to McInnes in round 13, but he stepped up tonight, perhaps if Smith somehow backs up round 13, he isn't a urgent sell after all.

I'm not bashing drug use, I'm bashing the double standards of supposed professionals, you can't take them if you are a professional player but I'm retired now so will do as I pleasemy tv broke wrote:If rec drug use was de-criminalised and viewed as a health issue (something i agree 100% with), would the general public then have a problem with it?

Are people supposed to believe they only stated after league their careers ended?
I agree with James Grahams stance, let people be in their privates lives and sort out the drug enhancement problem

i wasn't very fond of the Sharks to begin with, but fantasy this year has only soured my feelings, 11 weeks of watching my overall rank free-fall as Fifita, Gallen & Brailey's scores rise

Eh, I don't see why not, know plenty of people who have given up all sorts of things with the birth of their kids, even if its only for the first little period. Besides if the problem they have is with professionals taking it whilst they are playing, they could have just kept off the shit during the season and got back on it in the offseason and still hold that opinion. Not saying that doesn't make it hypocritical though, especially as these guys have a lot of the same reasons not to be known for it, they represent a brand and are public facing (often role models) and if your average channel nein broadcast its certainly keeping them from a "FG" quality performance.Welshy wrote:

Do you honestly believe ex pros who might take stuff now, didn't do it when they were pro league players?Archer wrote:
