I don't find it impossible to believe that some might have stayed clean during the season and kept it as an offseason only activity. I'll grant you that they wouldn't have been in the majority though.Welshy wrote:
Do you honestly believe ex pros who might take stuff now, didn't do it when they were pro league players?

Such a classic, that song and album. Reading reports now that it could have possibly been suicide. One would wonder why if that is the case. He had a wife and 3 kids.

It should be noted that I can't sub Smith (c) out of my team even if I wanted to, to get Fifita (vc)

edit: also god damn it kane butterfingers linnett, really pisses me off he's such a mainstay when we have guys like ggm, and bowen waiting in the wings so to speak.
Yep. That's a game we should have won. Agree with Linnett except I call him dickfingers. GGM I don't rate as highly but Javid is the goods. Was fairly happy with our edge defence, O'Neill's tightened up in the last couple of weeks. Feldt's got his confidence back. But fuck me Hampton was terrible. Shit slow service from dummy half culminating with the shit pass to Thompson when he got trapped, only to miss a tackle 15 seconds later leading to a try. Enjoy any price rises boys, he will/should be dropped.

With CC gone and the music industry missing a true great, Why doesn't "the rock n roll" industry where drugs and heavy drinking night on night are just accepted get bashed but its an apparent sin in sport?
These guys are just as much role models to kids as sports stars if people want to argue that point
in sport as long as they ain't performance enhancing, I'm fine with doing as they please in the spare time

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 41
I'm just trying to explain why someone like Hindmarsh could make the statements he made the other week and not feel he's a hypocrite. Maybe his biggest beef with it is he thinks it affects week to week performance and that's letting down their fans and team mates by not being their absolute best. I'm not arguing that though, I'm not really arguing one way or the other, my point about the role model and face of a brand and such was because I think if that's his beef, its still a bit of bullshit as he's kinda cherry picking the arguments that suit his outrage but ignoring a lot of the other more common ones that don't suit.Welshy wrote:

Oh really, that's horrible. He had a drug and alcohol addiction in the past too but thought he had been sober for a while. Very sudden, so sad to hear had died.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 41
I know very little about drug abuse, and people may see changes in appearance, gait, demeanour etc but I would caution people to not assume others are on drugs based on red/glasssy eyes alone. There are heaps of conditions such as say vernal keratoconjunctivitis (look it up) which affects, usually teengage boys, who are unfairly tarred with that brush. Just food for thought and like I said I know little about drugs, other than my Devil's Cut.....

Note to self, put the C on the forward facing Maloney. The amount of MT that guy racks up is ridiculous

Oh I posted my last comment before I read this, sorry, and it was more about the Hindmarsh thing and others. Yep that's surely terrible about CC

Holmes 47
Bird 32
Fifita 85
Brailey 46
Gal 55
Taumalolo 98
Hampton 31
Hess 42
There are really not many fantasy relevant Cowboys. Taumalolo is too busy stealing all the team's points. Let me know if I've missed anyone of interest.

He's on some good shit too. Venezuelan Kush crossed with a nice blend of Ambesia big bud, I'd say. Just by the look of his pupils.
