There is always a point when you think you are going well for the round and it all comes crashing down in one game. My players were averaging 50 each before this last game and I had 4 players combine for 100 odd points, relegating me to another week of mediocrity. At least they didn't wait until the last half of the very last game of the round like last week. Good to get the dashing of my hopes out in the open earlier so I am not under any delusion about making above par on any given week.

Agreed I mean he's close to pushing his average to the 40 mark and considering no CTR is really doing much better I'm happy to keep Cotric there for the long haul. I mean I forked out 138k for a 38pt average player. Is there much point forking out another 100k to get someone that averages 10 points more?
Well maybe I guess but I think that I'll conserve the trade and handle problems elsewhere

Unfortunately OTBP, I think he'll downdate. I am an owner too but have been thinking of dumping him the last few weeks. Watched him pretty closely this week. The two weeks I've had to play Cotric he's scored a 16 and a 19. He's made me lots of money but I hate him. Get ready for a 15 and an 11 in Rnds 12 &13 when he's in my starting team.

A bit early for the discussion, but is there anyone else in line for Rookie of the year honours other than Cotric?
