I've got 8 players today so hopefully there will be no more N. Brown type injuries that stuff my team up - CS9 (c), Surgess, Crichton, Elliott, CHN, Lamb, B. Lee & Slater. Currently 424/9 so based on averages I should get a mid 800's score but hoping that 1 or 2 of them have a blinder so I can crack 900.

I need to play either him, Yates or Frawley in a very tight H2H.
    3 fantastic options obviously.

If he starts that would be great & I would buy him but I doubt he will.

Traded Brown in this round. There is a serious lack of options if he has to be traded. I have Graham and JWH but after that.... Brown will lose enough so going to Tolman in one trade will be impossible for me. I was coming 67th but that is going south in a hurry. Do I suck it up and hold him for a better round 15 bye player? 19 trades left and have round 12 bye covered.

Traded ET for Brown for better bye coverage.

Since then Brown has scored 47 points, ET 114.

I still can't believe that I had lined up my Brown trade all week only to change my mind and cash out Kaufusi instead of upgrading.
I can't remember ever getting so lucky.

I feel for everyone on here who has him it's a big hit to take this week

Thats a tough one mate, I made the mistake of bringing him in this week too and I'll definitely be trading him out next week if not named on TLT.

By the sounds of it you're set for rd 12 so maybe bring someone in that gets their first bye round out of the way in rd 12 so they only miss one more game.

Someone like Scott Bolton who is $418k and scoring very well will have you covered right upto his last bye in rd 18. You'll have cash left over after the trade too.

Not ideal but when cash is tight you could do alot worse.

Thanks Mango, yeah that looks the best option in this case. Maybe Brown comes good by round 15.

Thoughts on my 2nd trade today. I'm selling Talakai to:
    (a) L. Mitchell or
    (b) B. Lee or
    (c) J. Manu

All 3 have the same bye schedule & are dpp's. Mitchell only scores well when he scores a try & other than that is lazy but has a high ceiling. I read on a sc forum that B. Lee has good base stats which is backed up by the fact he scored 40 last week in fantasy v the Cowboys in a well beaten team so he must do a lot of the hard yards. I put Manu in there because he is at least 60k cheaper than the other 2 & can chip in with a 30 score on his day. Atm I'm leaning towards B. Lee. Is there anything I've missed. Thoughts & thanks.

For me if Brown misses 2 games it's a 50/50 call. That has him missing 4 of 8 games through the byes.
3+ games and he's a sell for me.

Okay fantasy fanatics what do I do if Brown is injured next week? Trade Fifi to Surgess which will probably cost money and upset my 2RF/FRF but get me more points.

    Or

Trade Fifi to Tolman and pocket the cash to help fund upgrades at the cost of a few extra points???

Mitchell as you know is rocks or diamonds. He has been given a kick in the backside by the coach so hopefully he will not take first grade for granted from now on.
He is up against a quality centre defence in the Bulldogs this round.
Lee is more consistent with better base stats but is starved from the ball sometimes in a clunky Bulldogs attack.
Manu gives you some spare cash but not much else.
Classic case of picking a possible heart attack with Mitchell or a stayer with Lee. I would go Mitchell and hop on the rollercoaster.

The Knights/Panthers game looks to be more expansive. Roosters and Bulldogs will be a forwards battle.
I would lean towards Lamb but not much in it.

Sorry Baz tweeted he'd be out with Hodkinson to come in but didn't happen. Nevermind
