Yeah, a lot of mystery but I guess taht could be a good thing. Weird that he just gets named but no other info at all. I'm prepared for him to be a late scratching though.

Are there any base price ctrs or wfbs that will play 2 or more big bye rounds? Thinking of cashing out Talakai so I can use the cash next round.

Unless you can use the ~$100k straight away I don't think he is. Hampton will be playing in bye rounds R15 and R19 where you will most likely need him. If you don't need him in R19 then its only one extra bye round that Nu gets.
Hampton can also fill in for R13 and R16 if you are short there.
Another option is to hang onto Hampton for now and flick him out for a different cashout in R18.

How many points are you expecting from Nu? Townsend will be the alpha playmaker

he'd have to be super saiyon level 10 for the next few games to get there. worst case scenario

Hampton was shit last week and should be dropped. If JT, Morgo and Granville are fit, I would have Thompson as bench hooker. In which case Hampton could potentially only round 15 if he's lucky.

For sure, I thought he was meant to have scans Tuesday morning. Haven't heard or seen anything about it tho.

I don't think this is wise. Similar to BJ going through his current rough patch, would you sell a keeper? Aubs is only playing centre while Fergo is on origin duty. If you look at last week, Matterson was used as Latrell's replacement midgame.

Thoughts on why they're playing where they are this week? I'd have thought Matterson to CTR and Aubo in 2RF.....Just wondering as I'm actually tempted to bring him in this week as a keeper CTR for the byes but won't if it looks like he'll revert back to Black Widow status

Looking like any upgrades to my starting CTRs (SMat & Cotric) are going to be luxury trades - I've just planned out my trades up to Rd 20, and best case scenario I'll only have 8 left for the rest of the season after that.

Real talk: Connor Watson worth a pickup at $189k? He'll be getting starter minutes in the halves while Pearce is away and is capable of tearing apart the opposition. Only downside is he'll f up your AE plans while Pearce is back

Awkward price. Don't think it's worth the trade in and then out again.

How many trades do you have now? I have 22 pre trades this round and looking at trading hard until round 20 at which point I will have 5 left to start rnd 21 (if everything went to plan as per the notes i just scribbled out).

As a sidenote, I consider myself a pretty smart fellow, but damn getting my head around who and when to trade in/out players any more than 2 weeks down the track does my head in.

Yeah I can imagine Fifita after having a weeks rest in round 13 then coming out in round 14 & busting out a 70+.

Who would be the bigger priority, JDB or Tolo??

Looking at Norman to Walker, then Kelly to Semi which would leave me with 246K, enough to get McInnes to Brailey but presuming Brailey stays around the same price, I will be short to go Felise to Tolo but would have enough to go JDB.  I would need Brailey to make 9K to afford Lolo, which I don't think will happen.
