I think I'll keep Smith, Fifita, F. Kaufusi, CNK, Cook & N. Brown & instead trade out my 3 red dots. Do you think these 3 trades are a waste re bringing in these lower level players instead of players like J. Graham, C. Walker, etc. However these guys give me a bit of depth over the bye period.
    Idris out - Fine in
    R. Jennings out - Radradra in
Abbey out - Nu Brown in (via Klokstad)

I could get J. Graham in but he'll be even cheaper next week if I need him. Those 3 trades will give me:
    Cook (Smith)
    N. Brown (Fifita, F. Kaufusi, Wallace)
Gallen (c), Surgess (vc), Crichton, Elliot (JDB, CHN)
    SJ, Nu Brown (Lamb, Field)
    Mitchell, Croker, Fine (Kelly)
    RTS, Radradra, Cotric, Klokstad (Slater)

    Thoughts & thanks.

    This team gives me:
    Round 12 = 15 players, 13=17, 15=11, 16=17, 18=13, 19= 15

not sure a smith to mcinnes is worth it just to keep brailey. (mcinnes brailey combo)
if brailey is a 42 avg player as his last 3/5 games avg suggest (he is a 38avg currently), then he has 40-50k to max out to reach 390kish

between rounds 13 -19 the three will score:

    smith mcinnes = 244+330 = 574

    brailey mcinnes = 210+330 = 540

i dont think you get enough back for keeping brailey. the biggest draw is the great score round 15, and the potential to earn 50k which can be used to get smith back

the negatives include needing to use that extra trade (smith back in) and scoring fewer points

At this stage I plan to trade Brailey to McInnes after this round, but if something else comes up I dont mind having to hold him and if so will hold til after rnd 15. I also want taumololo though.

Wackos whispers says he failed to train yesterday, has to pass fitness test and is a 50/50 chance of playing... I hope he does play, he's gonna ruin all my future trades and plans.

I think all we can do re Brown is just wait until the final team is named because all we are getting is conflicting stories.

I'm having a really tough time letting go of Ponga. Might trade Kelly instead and take the hit of cash that I bank.

Sorry mate i nearly dropped my phone reading those trades! Nu and Fine are cashout options with the bonus of playing a couple of bye rounds. The players you are trading out though didnt make enough cash to be cashed out!

Seems like you are using up alot of trades on non keepers if you know what i mean

I think it's borderline.  THose players more than likely ain't coming back and if you have enough trades, you'll get away with it.  I had to help a work mate out, and they still had players like Hingano.  A trade like that to Nu Brown I think is okay to get an extra player but also funded a CHN to Gal upgrade so it's tough.

I get using the trades on non keepers but on the other hand, it's a bit of coin and some points.  Could go either way mate, go with your gut. If anything, mabe the Abbey trade is a waste, I wouldn't do that one actually, but the other two I think are okay.

Think I am going to bite the bullet and trade Aubusson, means my CTRs will be BJ and Kelly next week with Fuimaono out but it's for the best in the long run I think as I can bring in Munster for Norman next week and cash out Niko. Then bring in CWalker for Suli round 14 before working on fixing up those CTRs(although if Hayne gets DPP that will help in that regard)

    Smith McInnes
    Graham James Brown Fai
JDB Surgess Mannering Gallen Crichton Elliot
    SJ Niko Norman Hampton
    BJ Fuimaono Kelly Idris
    RTS Slater Hayne Suli Phythian

    Suggestions anyone?

I agree here - i dont mind the first two - Idris has to go at some stage and its 85k or so that will get used. Jennings to Radradra could work out really well, people buying radradra are looking for a big scoring POD. Personally I won't be getting Radradra but its not like I'm right on every player.

Nu Brown could net 100points over bye period.. they are expensive points, but yeh, it depends how many trades you have up your sleeve. We've all made wasted trades this year, not every one will be perfect. (and yes I still have Abbey sitting there doing nothing).

If I bring one of them in this week I am leaning towards Tolman. If it had have been a month or 2 back it would have been Graham. In saying that cash is not an issue for me, however trades are. If the cashed saved with Graham grabs another handy upgrade then Graham might be the better 'risk'.
