Are there any Cook owners like me on here. What are you doing with him. The only solution I can think of is cashing him out to Smith2. At least he'll play in rounds 15 & 18.

If you could choose from anyone, who would your top 5 captain options be?

    Smith, Gallen, Surgess, JDB, Fifita?

On current form? Would have to have Taumalolo in there with an avg of 63.

I guess I usually don't look at high-fluctuating scorers like him (last five rounds between 37-98) but yeah he's an option if you want to take a punt on someone like him or Tedesco or Taupau.

I guess mostly my captain choices are guys who are consistently 50-65 and can go larger? Just as long as I get that 50 or so base.

Merrin probably not a bad call considering he seems to have got back to his keeper status scoring. Definitely consistent scores for the past few rounds. Does it warrant him being a captain selection? Don't have him so I don't have to take a punt and answer that question haha.

Two basement price players that intrigued me in the team lists were:
    (1) Marsters - 2fr Wests - he filling in for Aloaia but the casualty ward says he's out indefinitely
    (2) Royce Hunt - frf/2fr Raiders - with Boyd out indefintely & Lui out for the season he may get an extended run.

I think Hunt has been 18th man for a couple of weeks and Marsters has big wraps on him. Either of them worth a punt, at the very least good cash-out options with Hunt's DPP.

Lawrence injured too, and when he comes back, someone has to make way

I have brought Marsters in this week as a cash out. If he plays Round 15 that is a bonus (might have to use him in 19 too I guess) but other than that he can do what he wants.

The funny thing with Bodene is his output is actually very similar to the last couple of years-he is just not getting the tries and associated TB's at the moment. His base stat average for the last 5 games is 44, but no tried and only 2 TB's.

A couple of tries and he is averaging 50 odd instead of 40 for the last 5 rounds.

Not saying they are coming, and I am trading him due to byes, but I don't actually want to.

Why such faith in Bodene mate? Really curious. I'm trading him for either Tolo or Gal so it has to be done, but could he actually produce something against the Titans?

    Lol

Jokes aside I have actually tried moose stew before. It was rather tasty. Different to a beef stew (obviously being game) but still nice.

On a Fantasy related note am I mad for considering trading Mcguire for Bromwich if Jesse can pump out another 40+ score this week? Obviously to use the funds elsewhere in my squad.
