    2 trades left.

Thinking of going Taupau to Vaugn
    Wallace - Tolo
    Then riding it out

    Thoughts ????

You are in the tough position of not having much depth. Other than maybe Alex Twal, or Fui at a big stretch, nobody outside your 17 is really scoring well enough to be confident of putting in your 17 should injury dictate.

As such its a big risk trading out a fit member if your 17. If you make those trades and anyone goes down, you aren't in a good position.

I'd keep at least 1 trade in reserve. Playing Taupau and Wallace isn't that bad.
For what its worth I have both in my final team (although Taupau will be 18th man if Smith is fit enough to play)

Doesn't surgess to Vaughan make more sense? Keep Wallace, he scores better here than fantasy

Feel like I'm in the same boat as most.  Team basically finished, but not sure how much I should keep fiddling.  Haven't really got going this year, ranked 142 so just hoping I can crack the top 100 by season end.

    Smith, McInnes (R)
Vaughan, Gallen, Surgess (R), Brown (R)
Tolo, Mannering, JDB, Taupau (R), Stimson, NPR
    DCE, Pearce, Hayne, Laybutt
    Crichton, Munster, Fui, NPR
    Tedesco, Edwards, Walker, RTS, NPR

Enough depth with DPPs and Hayne and Walker, and Edwards and Munster, interchangeable.  But any obvious upgrades? Only 3 trades left so need to a bit careful, especially because I'd need to cash out someone (eg Fui) to upgrade someone else.  Is it worth going RTS or Edwards to TTurbo?  Or Taupau to JTurbo or Fifita?  Papalii could be a POD for the run home.

Or better saving the trades for any season-enders to my top 17?  If Smith or Surgess get ruled out this weekend, I'd be looking at two of Hayne, RTS, Fui coming in.

You have a strong 17 NW. Wallace and Taupau are NOT major liabilities IMO.

You are light on depth, especially in HLF and WFB, so I would hold onto those last 2 trades as cover for any injuries that might occur in the last 6 rounds.

    @No Worries

I 100% agree with SI and subsequent posters. Im all for taking risks and maximising scoring, but your depth at half FB, and to some extent your backs is weak so it would be a massive risk to hope to ride out the season from here with no trades. I'd use one trade and then sit on the next until round 24, if you haven't needed it before then, then I think use it to upgrade and hope the last 2 weeks you can ride out.

How may trades have you got left mate? and how much $? Its a really solid team, but as you say it could be made better. This week is a tricky one with so many permutations in play given doubts over Surgess and Smith. I'd be inclined to have a plan to deal with those injuries should they eventuate before thinking about upgrading healthy guys....

FYI gents I've decided to let the trades burn a hole in my pocket and go Surgess to Tolo if he gets punted when teams are announced before kick off. I don't trust Madge.

Speaking of which but slightly unrelated. What are people's confidence levels of Cam Smith playing ? I don't have him in VSDT but have him in the nudie run and contemplating trading him out ??

That info came from the "What's New in 2017" page from the "Help and Info" section in NRL Dream Team. I assume that it would be in the same place in NFL Dream Team.

Thanks. Three trades left and $27k in the bank. The problem if Smith is ruled out is that the only guy I'd want to replace him with is McCullough and he'll already have played. If Surgess is out, I'd need to downgrade Fui to get to JTurbo - Fifita would have already played and Papalii is still suspended... $500 short of going Surgess to TTurbo via Fui Evil or Very Mad
