I have to play 2 of the following.

Smith, Surgess, Taupau, Cody Walker, RTS

Normally I'd just play Smith and Surgess and be done with it. But who should get the nod this week?

Taupau is the only one who can sub in for a late withdrawl of Smith, so currently I have him selected, with Smith ready to get played instead if he stays in final teams.

that leaves 1 of RTS/CWalker/Surgess. Is Surgess going to be fit enough to provide a decent score, or just play CWalker instead? I think RTS is out of the running

If it was me mate, I would pick Surgess.

Surgess to lead a Souths upset over a depleted Raiders outfit.

Ahhh yeah, just saw the Final 64.  I checked earlier today but musn't have scrolled down far enough.

Only had 2 players that game, McCullough and Brown, with both might have major injuries.

Me too . I've got 4 trades left and a bit of depth but hopefully injuries aren't too serious.

Eliminator update:

Me: JDB + Surgess + Taupau

Them: 29 + Vaughan + CSmith

Could change though if Surgess and/or Smith are out.

Down to one game tomorrow.

Me: 15 + Taupau

Them: CSmith

I think he's got the advantage, Smith's going to have a huge 350th but I hope big Marty can keep up. I could swap him out for Eisenhuth if I feel like taking a risk...

After posting my team and getting advice I realise I'm up against Nene Trump. I'm up by 20 & have DCE & Taupau Vs Smith. Thanks for the advice mate

Neither first or 2nd made trades this week.

They have good teams but are carrying injuries so a couple more and they could be cooked.

They have a healthy lead though so might be able to outlast.

Best trade in for McCullough?

Can afford any hooker - and McInnes appears the best bet.
Or could bring Nu Brown into hooker and bring in DCE instead, but I'm thinking McInnes is the ebst bet.


No Vaughan and no JDB is the big killer for me in the run home. Trading JDB - Taupau back when JDB missed a couple of weeks has not worked out like I'd hoped.

I thought that might be the case - that's good. Although Im a mile behind now so I don't think I'll catch them.

I went with POD in Fifita over JDB and that ended up hurting.

I really need Friend to come back ASAP and also have a couple guys really step up: Vaughan, Fifita, Pearce, and Aubs are basically my PODs - and not having JDB, Cam, N Brown - which all killed me this round haha.

Im out of trades now, so just gonna sit back and see how it all unfolds!

Go without Smith he decided, The Big Macs score as well. Smith goes postal and a Mac is out for the season. Might as well bring in Farah with my last trade.
