T-Trbo is definitely a rocks or diamonds type player - lowest score 20 & highest score 81. His scores this year are 27, 81, 31, 49, 34, 39, 52, 33, 63, 55, 20. His average is 44 though but obviously if you're prepared to put up with lower scores (6 of 11 games under 40 points) he'll reward your patience (5 scores 49+). His erratic scoring probably explains why people were complaining about him earlier in the season.

I don't see why people would be complaining about Tommy Turbo's erratic scoring. Is there any CTR doing better?
He has two below 30 scores. Lafai, Roberts and most of the other 40+ players have around 4. For the price tag paid maybe but right now you couldn't make a compelling case for anyone.

It was more of a frustration that you spent 400+ on tommy and the cash cow centres were scoring the same.

I think it's because after he scored 81 in round 2 they were probably expecting him to hit 50+ most weeks. I agree with you though. Before he got injured he was probably the best centre in fantasy & was in line to pump out 50+ against the Broncos if he hadn't of got injured in that game plus he was in really good form.

This 1 example of why this season has been weird. You have cows & mid rangers scoring like guns. You spend big money on wfb's & a guy like Ponga outscores them when he was playing. You spend big money on 2fr's & guys like CHN, Hess outscores them. Now you have Dylan Edwards arrived & his 84 in round 14 is probably the highest wfb score of the year although I haven't checked. In fact the reason why I was able to climb the ranks after a poor start was having Ponga, CHN & Hess all in my team at the same time.

With chambers back I'm assuming Scott will keep the other centre position considering he was the first banana when the team list was announced. Bellamy does seem to love Tonu though...
Pudgy smith will only get the lion minutes if cs9 pulls up lame after origin again and doesn't play at all. I won't be surprised if storm run dual smith with pudgy getting the final 20ish mins to relieve cs9

Decided to hold off on Turbo and get Edwards in instead. I can always trade Fuimaono to Turbo in a few weeks if need be
Here's my team for this week pending TLT and JDB judiciary result
Smith McInnes
Taupau James Eisenhuth
Taumalolo JDB Gallen
SJ Munster Hampton NuBrown
BJ Hayne Scott
RTS Tedesco Edwards
Really hope I can crack into the top 1000 for the first time this year

Rapana has 3 scores above that, but it's certainly up there and not fun to watch when you're playing Holmes for less than half the points and an origin call up to rub a little extra salt in the wound.

How can JDB get charged & F. Kaufusi not get charged when he breaks Bolton's nose.

Who to trade out for Tedesco.
Nu Brown or B. Abbey?

Is Tedesco going to back up? 2 days after Origin 2

Worth trading JDB to Taupau if he gets suspended? Taupau plays every game for the rest of the year and JDB missing two so banking 100 points at least from the trade. Problem is it likely means Hayne or a budget centre as final team centre instead of TTurbo

probably. If not I can trade to Tommy Turbo, or wait a week.
Actually TTurbo might make more sense anyway, as his DPP is useful to me, and the extra game he plays over Tedesco makes up for the lower average

Going Semi - TTurbo
then Moga - Tedesco next week
If Teddy backs up will do both this week

I was just going to post this JDB to Taupau. I think it's a sensible trade for overall. The Dragons have the Knights so they may just take the early guilty plea because they'll reckon they will beat the Knights.

Those trades look great. I'd follow but nervous about your bad luck this year.

Its already been touched on a bit by others before me, but the other thing i'd say is that at least from my end its not complaining so much as suggesting maybe he's not the "must get" that he appears around here (based on appearing in a ton of peoples planned trades this week). As you said you can't really make a compelling case for anyone, including TTrbo, so why not consider taking a punt on a cheaper less popular player (there are tons to choose from, even Hopa)?Johnny B Goode wrote:I don't see why people would be complaining about Tommy Turbo's erratic scoring. That and averages aren't all they are cracked up to be, hes the highest averaging ctr (excluding Scott because that's a bit silly) but if you go by total there are quite a few players who have given a better return on investment with regards to how many points they would have given you so far this season.

Thoughts for this week
Milf > Cleary
Suli > Mansour
Slightly worried about them playin the Cowboys this week though.
Solid enough?
