Stayed on 54 WL.  If I had have VC'd him I reckon I'd take it.  I went Surgess in the end but should have listened to Moose's stats from yesterday showing he is poor historically against them, not to mention at Allianz.

I have the C on Tolman so hoping for another 80 minutes Very Happy

I'm surprised so many people on this forum put the VC on Surgess, unless they missed the stats I posted? I did the research and posted the stats which all pointed to a low 40's score.

Personally I went VC Surgess thinking it would be a very close game. It was in the end, but not quite the arm wrestle in the middle I expected.

The stats you quoted weren't relevant. In two of those games he only played 40 minutes. He was injured in R4 this year and didn't come on for the 2nd half. Understrength forwards for the chooks tonight and no Napa. I didn't vc him, but your figures and research didn't put me off and he was a logical choice for vc. Without his conceded penalties and errors tonight he'd have scored OK. He should have got a penalty for the high shot from Friend. He would have if he'd stayed down. He's too tough for his own good.

Yeah same. I thought it would be close until the last 10-15 minutes where Souths would run in a few late tries to seal the win. I personally couldn't get past those stats though and decided to throw the VC on Friend which payed off. Surprised Souths didn't win tonight considering they should have been full of confidence after their win against the Panthers and the Roosters were missing Pearce, Cordner, Napa and Fergo.

    Cheers.

I'm kind of spewing I didn't get Friend the week after Brailey went down, as he has been fantastic.  Still have Brailey there but he will have to sit tight now for Smith.  Those 73 points doubled is a great boost for owners considering those scores from the bunnies guns.[/quote

I am after Smith too in round 20. This will cost me 2 trades but his captaincy demands it if you have a chance at overall. The problem is down the road if Storm
are clear at the top of the ladder Bellamy is quite capable of demanding that Smith have a rest the week before the finals and this season Smith looks like
he needs a break with origin taking its toll.

You're correct. The black widow tempted me, then fucked me over. I've only got myself to blame. The good news is I'm up to 525th and I won't be going backwards Very Happy

I would just like to point out that you can't actually spell Mitchell D Aubusson without the word 'handsome'.

It's actually true.  Have a look y'all.  Spell it out  Very Happy

Now, I don't actually know what his real middle name is, but everyone on here knows that I have always wanted to put the D in Mitchell Aubusson; and I just did!

While his 3 round average may have been affected by those games you mentioned his overall average vs the Roosters and games played at Allianz still pointed to a 40 odd score. That's Fantasy I suppose. On any given week a player can either go big or cop a head knock in the first 5 minutes and be ruled out for the rest of the game.

My multi on Souths -3.5 agrees with you. The key to Souths is Reynolds, if he does not fire up with those kick of his then they look lost.

I blame Madge's dopey game plan. Last week Reyno did all the kicking and we shit in. This week, for some stupid reason, he had Farah and Sutton taking a lot of kicks, probably to take the heat of Reyno. Let's face it though, without his kicking game he looks pretty ordinary, soif he's there he should be kicking. Or fuck him off altogether. Madge has lost the plot.

Fair call, Storm have a middle of the road run home in my eyes. Whilst Cam has been rested over the byes this year, I think the last time Bellamy rested players over the closing rounds they capitulated, even with everyone back they didn't quite gel, 2014 maybe?

    Pray for Mojo.

I find it too hard to bye plan properly around origin time because I'm either at the games or working too much. Plus I can still enjoy League without worrying too much about fantasy.

I'm going with Friend and McCullough for the run in. I could get Smith back in, but I think I'll beef up elsewhere.

I'm watching the TDF cycling & the cyclists just throw all their rubbish including water bottles on the side of the road the wanker litter bugs. So who the fuck cleans it all up.

During the game there was Sutton ripping into Farah for not giving him the ball then Sutton gives the Roosters 7 tackles soon after and one dumb penalty later
the chooks score. Robinson outcoached Maguire this game. Johnston never looked liked getting the pill, nuff said.

The French TDF clean up specialists and get your team in order as I am giving you a sound thrashing in our league battle this round.

Great work. I used free Wi-Fi at a rest stop on the way to Scotland to enact my loophole.
