    349/6 once Friend gets doubled.

8 more to play (including Tualau, who I don't expect to score much)
Not too bad, all things considered

Locking in 54 from Crichton. Had a dream captain NBrown went off early in the second half with a HIA and I'm not one to tempt fate

It's funny. My wife is a roosters fan.

We both logged on to check the score.

Her first thought going "good, we won by 2"

My first thought. "good, Friend scored well enough to loophole"

I don't see that happening. With little Smith out, I think captain Smith is a lock from round 20-26.

If I lose 10-20 points by locking in Crichton instead of sticking with Brown it will hurt, but not as much as Brown only scoring 30 points.

You have a cracking squad mate & plenty of numbers this round & you're chasing hard in L51.

I like this idea too. Ups the risk reward balance.

I'm seriously considering taking Crichton's 54 rather than risking what my captain Taupau may dish out.

I don't know if it's the right move but it's a safe move.

    What would you guys do?

And that comment about including the scores from SOO players, I reckon it's a great idea.

Yeah but the bye period gives the chasing pack a chance to catch up with the leaders. People would then just stack their team with origin players so they would have less players on an actual bye making it harder for the chasing pack.

I've loopholed Reyno's 51. Ultra conservative I know, but the way I look at it, I only lose 22 points by not vc'ing Friend. Even if Taupau goes berserk, I'll only concede 30 points max. A HIA early would be fucked. I expect a good week anyway. 363 with 9 to play.

Plus if you had guys like Hess and Wallace, you would be screwed just cause they don't get the regular minutes they get in club games compared to what they get in Origin.
