Really regretting a couple of trigger-happy weeks early in the season - trading both Bodene and Graham in and ditching them the next week. Trading them out quickly was the right move, hence the rank, but bringing them in in the first place was the mistake. Also shouldn't have sold Hayne only to bring him back in.

I would love to do a scattergraph of how many trades left vs rank if people want to let me know.
1. Trades before making any trades this round.
2. Current rank.

S.Mat sustained what looked like a compound fracture of a finger around the 70 min. mark. Looked nasty and in a lot of pain.
Reports he may be out for 4 weeks plus. Most probably a sell if you have the trades Welshy.

NRL PHYSIO says SMat a chance to play this week... it was only a dislocation.

I traded Suli for Kurt Capewell in Round 4 and he didn't end up playing so the very next week I traded him out for CHN. I mean it worked but oh man if I'd found some other player to trade I could have got those sweet 107 points.
Burns in for Pythian looked like a dud of a trade but he came back during the bye rounds so he came back at the right time.
Also I've done pretty well in spite of it if I may so but Abbey instead of Ponga got me good. Still ranked very high but when I see teams with crazy good depth, I know that it's because they got them mad Ponga funds.
I had to do it the hard way but I'm still here.

Thanks guys one for team lists then I guess! Was going to offload Cotric but may have to dump SMat if the injury is worse than expectedMilfordTheMagician wrote:NRL PHYSIO says SMat a chance to play this week... it was only a dislocation.

Gallen but I'm also considering Mannering. If Nu Brown plays then I can't use the loophole and so I won't be able to VC SJ to any great effect.

What chance that McInnes beats his BE of 66 this week?

Cloudy with a chance of not very likely. If he scores a try it's very good but otherwise it depends what Raiders show up. If their completions are high, he should get a lot of tackles from Paulo, Papalii and Boyd carting it up the middle. However they could also go to their edges a lot, particularly since the Dragons edge defence has been weak, reducing his tackle numbers.

I honestly can't trust Gallen after two scores in the 40's the last two weeks. Same goes for Lolo and Burgess. Lolo because Green changes his minutes more than his underpants and Burgess gets way too many demerits lately. I would go with Crichton but he has a broken foot and then there's McInnes and Taupau who have been down lately as well. I honestly wish Brown was playing this week because I would have gone with him.
This week I'm going SJ I reckon.

Are you able to add members to the leagues? Or does is have to be done at the start of the season? I missed signing up to any fanatics leagues at the start of the season..SI wrote:

I don't think we have to worry too hard about that.
I'd say that since we've kinda reverted to classic Raiders of years gone by he should be good for a try, we used to be specials for conceding a dummy half try at least once per game.... occasionally two, by the same player in the exact same way!

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 57
I'm getting Lolo in this week. Maybe I'll ruin him but hey can't go into the run home missing out on some of them potential huge scores can I? No really can I? Have to say goodbye to Elijah Taylor to do it but you got to do what you got to do
Pretty much the team I'll run with until injuries/suspensions force my hand
Smith, McInnes
Fifita, Taupau, (Leota, Sele)
Gallen, Mannering, JDB, Crichton, Surgess, Lolo
SJ, A Rey, (Nu Brown, Laybutt)
Scott, T Turbo, (Fuimaono, Lew Brown)
Guth, Munster, Edwards (Rossdog, Burns)

Captain...think I'll VC Mannering and C Taupau vs Tigers, but would much prefer to do it the other way round. Can't see Mannering scoring less than 55-60 playing a secure 80 with Hoffman out so fully expecting to loophole and miss out on Marty going large. Other option would be to VC Taupau and Captain Surgess.
If Laybutt or Fogerty play will have 18 so might just have to C Manners anyway.
