Great news for Sione Mata'utia; cleared of compound fracture (only dislocation). Still needed surgical washout but chance to return this wk

Of course even with origin throwing things in the air, we get this, something we probably won't know until an hour before the Knights game. If he's fit I guess he can stay.

Lost about 400 places this week to fall down to rank 1349 but I did only have 8 players so it could have been worse. Any trades this week guys or hold them?

    Fifita Eisenhuth
Taumalolo Taupau JDB Surgess Crichton Gallen

Yeah it makes me sick to have to put Hampton in No only thinking of possibly upgrading Fui to Turbo or praying RTS pumps out a 50 this week so I can swap him to Pearce next week. Is that what you would do?

Mate, I personally would be a bit scared with only 3 trades but Fui to Turbo sounds mighty tempting.  Maybe hope Maloney doesn't back up and NuBrown gets a run?  If you can field 17 then I'd probably play it safe.  Looking at your team though, a third half wouldn't hurt.  probably take the gamble and hope you can get Pearce.  If not Cleary looking great for the run home too.

EDIT: Jsut saw it looks like you'll only be able to run with the two halves moving Munster down. That's not the end of the world if Cleary or Pearce is your second half.

Thinking about bringing Teddy in this week if he plays. I have a couple of options but the way I'm leaning towards is Fui to Teddy via Whare.

I'll lose my DPP switch between CTR and WFB but it gives me an extra back if I ever have to switch Munster into the halves for injury cover. This will be my final team with 2 trades left.

    C.Smith C.McInnes
    A.Fifita M.Taupau
    P.Gallen S.Burgess JDB A.Crichton J.Taumalolo N.Brown
    S.Johnson N.Cleary
    T.Turbo C.Scott J.Hayne
    J.Tedesco RTS J.Mansour C.Munster D.Edwards

Alternatively I could go RTS to Teddy, it will leave me with a lot more cash itb but might leave me a bit short at the back if Munster goes to the halves and I have an injury in the backs.

Any opinions will be  greatly appreciated lads.

Fuck that's a team! Nice problem to have but picking a 17 every week is going to do your head in.

I think if you leave Scott, RTS and Mansour on the pine that's about the strongest 17 possible for the run in, except maybe McCul or Friend for McInnis plus Mannering for one of your 2RFs (JDB?), but even that's marginal. Great team.

Basically, leave out your backs who are playing against the Storm or Sharks, play the ones who are up against the Knights and Tigers...

Thanks mate, I wanted to bring Mannering in last week for Graham but because he had the bye and I was short of players I got Brown instead.

Although Brown has a bye this round it didn't work out too bad for me and I think he'll post some good scores. I'd love to have Mannering in my team and if any of the others dont pull their weight he'll be the first to come in. Hopefully I'll have enough cash to do it.

Pearce is probably another one I'll regret not having.

Good point too about not playing my backs that are up against the Storm, Sharks etc.

Thanks Wolfking, I'm hanging in there. S.Mat and Mansour are my problems at the moment and my front row AE if Laybut or Hingano get on the field.

I would love to do a scattergraph of how many trades left vs rank if people want to let me know.

    1. Trades before making any trades this round.
    2. Current rank.

    Cheers,
    NerdFilth

    Here you go poindexter:

    1: 6
    2: 172

Pleasantly surprised by that ranking as I thought it may have been a lot further out than that.

Anyways, whilst filth is analysing trades vs rank, does anyone else find it funny/frustrating that this comp has the least amount of trades (compared to SC and VSDT)?
I would have thought with the 1 game price fluctuations that this would be the competition which would require and benefit from the most trades.

Running with this lot this week, 5 trades left and 420k

    MCInnes
    Fifita Taupau
Gallen Crichton JDB Surgess Taumalolo Marsters
    Johnson Cleary
    Leilua Hayne Fui

Goal for r20 still to change McInnes to Smith and Frawley to Pearce for a Hollywood final 17 Cool Friend and Pearce would replace Fui and Marsters as the final 2 reserves against this lot
