Previously you might say for example that you want your cows to make about 100k (about a ten point improvement) to make the trade worthwhile. A ten point improvement with the magic number of 14645 means you would want close to a 150k improvement, but it won't be as simple as that because of the new bye schedule and how many trades they end up giving us. More importantly for now though, I wonder how much of an improvement I should be looking for? Someone priced 10 under what I think they'll get? More? Thoughts?

No mention of the amount of trades as of yet.

A 10 point / 150k improvement sounds about right for a cashcow benchmark this season

I did read no change to trades a few weeks ago on an FB page but not sure how legit.

    T. Sims will now be an 80 minute 2fr with Thompson going to Manly.
    T. Sims av score = 38
    T. Sims av minutes = 51
    ppm = 74

forecast that out to 80 minutes = 59 points.
Of course he won't score 59 points having to play 80 minutes but he should score at least 45+
He could be a good pick.

When I saw T. Sims play for the Knights it looked like he wasn't really motivated & never gave 100% in every game. When I watched in 2017 for the Dragons he looked extremely motivated & ripped in. I think he can raise the 45 av at the Knights to around 50 av at the Dragons.

Cheers for all the information posted so far. Loving the basic team picker. Great help for a blind bastard.

Well he clearly looks undervalued, the main question is by how much

Nice find, will he def be the minute man though? What about my boy Friz? Friz gets 80 minutes he will be undervalued

Dragons pack has always been tough to judge with Mary, with Graham there does Vaughan get used in shorter stints to increase his effectiveness? Plenty of questions

So with Thompson leaving to Manly you think he will go back to 80 minutes. Does the Graham signing force anyone into the backrow or take up those minutes though?

Unless JDB plays 80 from Lock in the Mannering role and they mix Friz and Sims minutes and rotate them with Host/Sele which is doubtful

I'd expect big minutes from Graham + Vaughan. with LAM/Latimore/Kerr/Host rotating in. 60/65 from JDB with one of Friz and Sims going 80, knowing Mary it will change each week, if one of them nails down the 80 minutes both present good value

@milchcow  Stupid question: On your 2018 planner there is three tabs, lookup team planner and player list. The lookup tab appears like you have posted here. Is there a way I can use that to look up stats or is the main idea of that file the team planner bit? Thanks

type in the players stats you want to view, in the cell under Player, press enter, then F9 to refresh and the stats for that player will appear mate

is that what you are after?

Can probably also add a couple of extra points to Tariq Sims' score where we could assume he will not have as many missed tackles, Dragons having much greater cohesion as a defensive unit.

Here is a real left of field smokey for you night owls: Chad Townsend.
Moylan more of a running half and I can't see him doing too much of the general play kicking.
CT to eat up all the KMs, priced at 35 and massive POD status.

I've got CT firmly on the radar mate, should be able to get into the 40 region from extra kicking duties alone, but probably caps at a high end 45. worth it if he gets there

His biggest problem is there are a few others competing in that price range just as interesting- Croft being a big one for a few dollars more, Moses for a few less
