Yeah, Parra's FRF has been very plain the last few years. He could be massive.

Not sure he goes much over 30 points wise, but priced at 22, some decent cash to be made.

How you feeling about your Tigers mate?

I would love Welch to get some decent, typical minutes week in week out but they vary too much, if he got anywhere near 40 minutes constantly he would be great as a decent money maker and reserve

Not sure it changes with Kas and Kaufusi arriving though

I think PKaufusi is more of a depth signing. I honestly think their bench will be Kas, NAS, Welch, KBrom.

I was really keen on NAS during the WC but ive since gone cold on him.

I have no idea but I don't think Hoffman will be playing 80mins and Funicaines mins will slightly decrease and Kas wont be playing big minutes I think he'll be used as a battering ram in short stints with Jbrom, Glasby, NAS and Welch as the main props.

Again that's personal opinion I really have no idea.

REALLY looking forward to seeing what Taane can do. We have been so weak in the Centres for years, and it doesn't help that we haven't had a gun Second Rower out wide since Ellis either. Hopefully Liddle can put a full season together but McIllwrick did a pretty good job; so long as Ivan keeps ET the fuck away from the 9.

Oh, and Benji to party like it's 2005 Very Happy

Yeah, unfortunately I think the days of Lord Dale being a solid mid ranger are done. One less bloke for me and Welshy to blame year in year out.

So many team make up possibilites in that Storm pack without Harris, taking up that 80 minute edge role, hopefully JBrom gets big minutes again because he is full of value at his current price for what he is capable of!

I have always had a soft spot for the Tigers and Knights so hope they go well this year, I'm especially excited to see how Brown does with some decent talent of his own choosing finally at his disposal!

Nope, Green is a nice addition in aiding SJ but no point helping Johnson out when your pack is getting crushed everyweek! Front row stocks outside Blair are awful and he will give up after a few weeks of getting smashed around every week! backrow will be decent, I love Harris but we will be constantly on the backfoot

I thought McGuires scores tailed off, was more he had a poor mid season run

    first 14 round average - 51 (13 games)

    R15-R26 (minus injury affected R17) - 44 (8 games)

R16, R20, R21 with origin and a DNP inbetween for an avg of 30, this knocked his average down a touch

dual FR/2RF, could be some value there especially if he elevates without Blair/Easy E

Yeah, can see Blair going that way as well. If the Props do manage to stand up though you've got the rest of the park covered.

With all the defense the Warriors will be doing this year I think Mannering will be scoring 55+ easy.

What we really need to see is how trades will work this year.

8 teams miss round 13, and the other 8 teams miss round 17.

If you have 17 players play in round 13, you have 4 rounds to swap 13 of them out if you want a full team in round 17.
That assumes everyone in your 21 is fit and selected each week, and nobody plays origin.

And then after round 17 you'll have to quickly trade in any keepers who just had the bye (you can have a max of 4 in your NPRs)

Unless we get a trade wildcard, fielding 17 in both byes will be night on impossible. At least, even if it is possible, it's probably worthless as you'll have to kill your scores massively in the intervening rounds to do it.

Origin players also interesting. Unless they get rested after origin, trading them our for a 'bye player' will only get you one more scoring week.
I'm thinking Cam Smith might get a rest or 2 this year again though, so possibly Jake Friend or someone might come in for him in my team.

Dylan Edwards I think could enter the fantasy WFB elite this year, only scored 1 try last year and still averaged over 45, got shafted plenty on the lack of TBs like CWalker used to as well! If Sandeep and Ganesh can sort their shit out and give him those Ponga/Tedesco calls, he could really fire

If Sandeep and Ganesh can sort their shit out and give him those Ponga/Tedesco calls, he could really fire

Only 1 try, holy fuck! Although the worry is he continues to get shafted on TB's and someone like Ponga continues to get ghosties.

Has there been any mention on how many trades there will be? I'm just trying to get my head around how much a trade is worth. Previously you might say for example that you want your cows to make about 100k (about a ten point improvement) to make the trade worthwhile. A ten point improvement with the magic number of 14645 means you would want close to a 150k improvement, but it won't be as simple as that because of the new bye schedule and how many trades they end up giving us. More importantly for now though, I wonder how much of an improvement I should be looking for? Someone priced 10 under what I think they'll get? More? Thoughts?
