The frf's from teams that have a hooker/utility on the bench are usually good picks.

On Lodge, bennett has already said he'll be starting prop in rnd 1. Im not particularly interested in picking him though. That said he may come into consideration if im trying to save $$, which is likely

On the Broncos...I love watching TPJ play and he could be a fantasy gun even with 40-50 minutes, but is there any chance he gets that? Any Broncos fans take a stab at their forward rotation?

Happy New Year everyone!
I've updated the team picker if anyone wants a quick way to play around with picking a team on their phones:
http://www.azwebsolutions.co.nz/teampicker.php
Not sure how the bench is going to work this year so have just made it an open bench

White Lightning wrote:Reading some of the Lodge comments I tend to agree. I think with the way the Broncos play & with McGuire usually taking the first hitup as if he was a prop when he's at lock I just don't think Lodge will score that well fantasy wise. In fact I can't think of any Broncos frf's over the last 5 years that have really been fantasy relevant. I feel this is down to minutes because with Macca being an 80 minute hooker then the frf's just don't get enough minutes because they used a 4 prop rotation with no hooker on the bench.
McCollough coming back from serious injury so Broncos may start with a utility on the bench. This may help Lodge's minutes early season.

Disgraceful behaviour that was
Are you on the Lodge train? I can't have him personally at this stage but understand the attraction.

Welcome back me old codger!
I'm not currently on the Lodge express, see more in Kikau, Evans/Terepo, Kas, Welch, Lussick for cheaper
He is however firmly on the radar

Yeah SI I'm with Welshy and not on the Lodge train.
I'm looking at Kikau and Welch. Had Welch last year and was great until his unfortunate injury.
The problem is if Lodge does start at 10 he'll be way to tempting. I thought we still had Dodds on our books but I cant find any evidence that he is.. We're short on props really.

Team planner updated with missing player stats added
http://www.mediafire.com/file/t5bib5abkax0t9c/2018%20Team%20Planner%20v0.1.xlsm
I'd look at it more thoroughly myself, but its easier when I have Chewie doing unpaid Beta testing for me

Probably been discussed a few times already, but what was his average when he was playing NRL

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 1
@MightyFishes
I would love Welch to get some decent, typical minutes week in week out but they vary too much, if he got anywhere near 40 minutes constantly he would be great as a decent money maker and reserve
Not sure it changes with Kas and Kaufusi arriving though

I too can see Evans tempting me (again) and also have been waiting years for Terepo to show something.

If there was a time for Evans to show what he can do this is the year, with little infront of him in terms of high class international/origin props like he was faced with at the roosters, now or never for fantasy relevance

TBF then if he gets 35-40 minutes which shouldn't be tough with the Donkeys rotation, he should be good for 30+ points
I'm however as you mentioned worried about the few potential extra points above where he is priced not being worth the trade out after 6 weeks and him losing his bonce again
