Should we hit up Lone Scout about our forum again to try to grow the name and leagues?

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 1
Fantasy site has updated, by the looks of the front page, we'll be getting 2 team guides a day excluding weekends until they are all up, also has a FAQ page but it says a whole lot of not much
Will NRL Fantasy return in 2018?
Yes! The NRL Fantasy and Draft games will be back in 2018, launching late January. Prepare to play by getting an NRL Account ASAP. Updated rules, prizes and game details will be communicated closer to the launch date.
Why are player prices much higher than previous years?
In 2018 the Fantasy salary cap will be increased to $9.4M in line with the NRL club's new cap. At the same time squads will be reduced to 21 (from 25), resulting in higher individual player prices.
Why are some players listed in the wrong club?
As players will continue to sign new contracts and move clubs prior to the launch of NRL Fantasy the initial player-to-club associations may not be completely accurate. Any changes that have occurred between initially publishing the 2018 player prices and the launch of NRL Fantasy 2018, will be corrected at the time of launch. Once live player movements and new additions will be made weekly. This activity will not affect the player's price.
What happens to my previous Fantasy account?
If you played NRL Fantasy in previous years we will synch your history to your new NRL Account when you register to play in 2018.
Why hasn't the App been updated?
We are still building the updated NRL Fantasy app. It will be available to download in early 2018.

few of those Broncos are at nice prices, Bird, Su'a, Lodge and Savelio look like the guys to monitor in the pre-season

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 1
George Fai, 1 game, 27% discount
Jaydn S'ua, 4 games 18% discount
These are in line with previous years. For some reason, Tyrone May seems to be an outlier getting a massive 30% discount despite playing 7 games last year. Others seem to be getting the usual 3% discount per game less than 10.
Gives me confidence that most of the player prices on page 1 should be accurate.
I suspect Inglis will get a bump in price from the $267,000 I have him at though.

Canberra prices confirm that most things are as per usual
Sitiveni Moceidreke 1 game, 27% discount
Brad Abbey 4 games 18% discount
Dunamis Lui slightly weird, most players with NRL experience seem to have a base price of $228k, but he comes in at $217000

Whoever gets the hooking role at the raiders while Hodgson is off injured will likely be in my team as a cashcow... $228k is a bargain
Edit: maybe we'll get another run on the Garvey train

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 1
I notice J. Papalii has regained his dpp status. Let's face it he was pretty poor in 2017 but with reduced player numbers & probably losing 1 frf & 1 2fr then a few dpp's would be handy tactically.

Apparently Tagataese has joined the Broncos & Mead has gone to esl.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 1
So with Mead gone & J. Bird apparently missing the first month of the season as reported by the Courier mail due to his shoulder reabilitation then one of the cheaper young guys will get a shot on the wing as imo Kahu will play ctr
1. Boyd 2. Oates 3. Kahu 4. Roberts 5. Opacic/Pearson/Isaako/Moses Pangai
They could even play Su'a at ctr & leave Kahu on the wing. I think they played Su'a there in the past but as a 2fr he may not have the lateral speed to handle ctr.

I doubt Kahu will play centre, his combo with Roberts is too valuable, if i had to have a guess, i'd say Opacic takes Mogas spot, though Oates has supposedly told Bennett he's done as a winger and wants to play back row, so that might be another spot that's up in the air.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 1
Did McGuires scores tail off towards the middle and back end of season?
He was an ultra solid pick early season and I can remember his scores taking a dive...I think, might be some value if he can maintain that early last season fantasy scoring
Don't think i can't not pick NBrown after last season either
