Agonising over the halves for hours I came to the conclusion that only DCE or Munster are options.

Same for me, moreso because I'm trying to find value

LCroker will start for me if named for Manly, then its from

    Cronk
    JRey
    Croft
    CWalker
    Thurston
    Mbye Embarassed

At the beginning I was super happy with Munster in my team but at the time my bench was very average. Now I have a strong bench and I don't want to jeopardise that to bring him back

I remember in 2016 when Bulldogs were doing well, Mbye was killing it early on. I remember a 92 in one of the first games and a lot of high scores. No need to be embarrassed about that call I reckon

Just the unknown playing fullback, his skill set is certainly more suited to fullback than the halves, not sure he has the TB ability from fullback to rack up the Tedesco esque scores consistently though?

White Lightning wrote:That article about Austin playing hooker did not actually say he'd start at hooker. It said Garvey/Havili would start, Williams on bench & later on in the game Austin would spell Garvey/Havili & Williams would come on at hlf.
I'm not sure there has been anything at all about how they'll be used officially, thought it was all just speculation and the only thing known was that he had spent some time training at hooker.
My point was more that whenever Ricky has something "tricky" in his mind its anyone's guess what the outcome will be week to week, so if week 1 Austin/Williams is named in the 14 I'd be a little cautious about the hookers.
Take previous seasons, one week you'd see Baptiste play 40min another week he might not come on at all, which wouldn't impact Hodgo too much because he's class enough you leave him out there and find space, however i'm not so sure the same would happen for whoever is in his shoes this season.

If Cartwright starts I will be tempted to go super light and run him as my starting half. At least I can be sure he will increase in value whilst I see what the rest of the options are doing for this season, I am not confident in any of the premiums and worry the inverse will happen.

Mention TB's and choose Teddy over Rapa as the benchmark... some days i swear you do it just to wind me up Evil or Very Mad cyclops others I'm worried there might be something wrong with the Welsh water/air.

Well when comparing Tedesco and Rapana there is a reason for it

    Ted - avg 8 TBs a game
    Rapa - avg 7 TBs a game

    ouch.

Thought you were talking about a players ability to break a tackle, not be awarded one for being a stats darling. My mistake.

If its purely on ability then Rapa breaks tackles like i break wind, frequently, just for fun and with reckless abandon. Whereas Tedesco also "breaks" tackles the way a woman breaks wind, so sneaky and careful you'd be forgiven for thinking it never actually happened....

Bunty Afoa with Pulu on the bench. I think he'll be quite popular among second year down syndromes
