Sorry boys just passing on what i heard but looks like its wrong. Although nothing is gospel, i remember posting a link on sportal from the titans actual website years ago which said Dave Taylor was ruled out, nek minute hes running out onto the field..... I trust nothing these days, although the new teamlist format makes it a lot easier. Yes, I owned big Dave back in the day, was a period of my life im still trying to forget

Who's holding Arrow? Who's trading him?

Who's holding SJ, Who's trading him?

Holding both. Get Surgess back this week so can cover Arrow, and have C.Walker to cover SJ. Both are likely to be in my final 17 so reluctant to trade out for what will hopefully be short-term injuries.

Something posted not long ago suggesting SJ could be 3 to 4 weeks.

Its now got me thinking he is a trade out. Too much money tied up in a red dot IMO. Particularly when that money could be used to get another gun for the first bye round. 1 week I could have dealt with but 3-4 is too many in this comp IMO.

I agree on Arrow, he is probably a hold, but Im gonna probably ditch him too. It'll mean I'm very light on trades by round 18 but I'll live with the risk.

my arrow to fonua trade has netted me 47 points and some cash. I call that on track for success.

R n T I never realised what a dominent team you had until this week I have the misfortune of facing you H2H.

I will gladly accept the underdog card as I assume SJ and Merrin are going to be two heavy hitters

My cunning plan to trade in Mason Lino as someone to play when SJ was injured has backfired spectacularly.

Top teams going to be hitting 1,000 this week, and I have his 9 points staring me in the face.
Didn't even hit his measely BE

Gonna be a tight H2H mate by the looks.

Deciding not to bring in JTrbo gonna really hurt this week (both H2H and long term).

Turned Arrow and SJ into ARey and Surgess. Might not be enough to win the H2H but for the season it should help me as I get a bit of cash, cash generation, and 2 more round 13 players.

Not looking good though for the season as Im gonna fall another 100 points behind first by the looks.

Top 3 guys all have JTrbo (but only 1st and 3rd captained him).

Is Rooster Booster from this forum too? He/She has been doing well, especially considering they are the only? top 10 team without Matterson.

Rooster Booster used to post pretty regularly when I first joined. Loose’s Goose (in #7) was around last year too.

Funny, didn’t think I was that parochial in my team selection, but facing Manly40nil and he is stacked with Sea Eagles players and now I’ve got 4 Rabbitohs to come. Each of the Manly and Souths picks are entirely defensible but it’s funny how we must be subconsciously swayed by team loyalty...

Feel like I am struggling slightly this week but with lots of bunnies, Captain Fifita and Capewell to come, hopefully can make up ground this afternoon.

Struggling before maybe but depending on which Bunnies you had your arvo may have turned around nicely...

Didn't know about those two guys, Loose's Goose probably racked up a big score this week, but looking at the top teams several also scored 1000+.

Funny week lads - on the face of it I feel like I went ok, scored 941 but then I look at the top 3 teams.

How far behind is too far in this comp to win it do you think?

Mate, if you are in the Top 10 prior to the bye's then you are still well and truly in the hunt.

Also, there's always a couple of teams that trade too hard and go out the back door at the finish.

Pretty easy to drop 50-100 odd points a round if you are down one or two guns on the top teams.

Talking about the byes, have been very much considering Reynolds but am concerned he might get picked for NSW.

I'm 105th, and the main thing keeping me from winning it, isn't my ladder position, it's that my team isn't as good as the teams at the top, so it's going to be hard to make up the ground.

I'd say anyone in the top 100 or so has a chance, especially if they are set up well for byes and have good cash being generated

Could I get some help with my second trade here?

    Cook (Griffin)
    Fifita, Kikau (JFH, Rochow)
Arrow, Trbojevic, Taumalolo (RFM, Murray, Martin)
    Brooks, JT (Cartwright, Croker)
    Matterson, Marsters (Fonua, Matthews)
Tedesco, Ponga, Watson (Inglis, G. Jennings)

My first trade was Gosiewski > Martin and now have 226k ITB. For my second trade I was considering Griffin > Koroisau.
I'm not considering any WFB or CTR trades this week because I think I'm fine there for the time being (besides Fonua and Matthews being NPR's.

Obviously my halves is my weak point but is it worth upgrading anyone there instead of the Griffin trade? Maybe bring in DCE or Reynolds for Brooks/JT?
What about Murray or Kikau, do they need to go this week over Griffin?

I did a similar trade with Sorensen - Martin. The purpose being to upgrade JMK to a better half (have been playing him since I've been holding SJ).

How this relates to your situation is that I have many similar players in that 'maybe upgrade, maybe not' range like Kikau and Murray (even though our teams are quite different), but for now they are far more capable of scoring higher than JMK so they can stay. For you I think Brooks or JT have to go. I'd probably cut my losses on Brooks and get in a premium half. Thurston has bottomed out and his price isn't going to plummet. Even if Brooks scores 40 he will drop over $20k. I realise the same can be said for Griffin but I just feel like your team looks better with a premium half. Tough choice.

I was a little short for JMK - Reynolds (which is the trade I wanted to make) but realised I can go Hiku - Reynolds and swing JMK down to WFB. I'm not averse to running 3 good halves in my final 17 (Munster, SJ and Reynolds).
