I'm pretty sure two of those scores were monster outliers due to tries

I read an article years ago that it's actually unhealthy being that fit. I guy I used to work with that was a hard out marathon runner died of a heart attack for no reason. It was quite sad as he & his wife went up to see a friend in hospital & he said to his wife when they arrived that he felt a bit dizzy & he'd meet her up a bit later. She came back to the car later on & he was dead.

I haven't heard much talk of Dufty. Playing behind the monster Dragons pack with the addition of B. Hunt meaning 2 quality halves he could be involved in more plays. Also reading the Dragons forums it appears in 2017 McGregor told Dufty when returning kicks just to pass to Nightingale & Macdonald & let them run it back rather than himself due to his size & inexperience. He has got bigger during the off season to better handle contact & we could be seeing more kick return metres.

A name that I've heard thrown around by SuperCoach is Douehi from the Rabbits.
Also a Broncos lad Payne Haas

Interesting. Likes a tackle bust too. Lots of options at WFB though.

This. Unlikely to see many minutes at all this season unless we got hit hard by injuries. We have a fair bit of depth this year with the additions of Savelio and Tagataese. Haas is definitely an exciting prospect for the future though.

Milchcow wrote:2018 - How to loophole.

The combination of ranked subs and rolling lockout means we can still loppy-loop. Much to the joy-anger-confusion of everybody.

    Terminology
    Bench = numbers 13-21
    Interchange - numbers 13-17
    Reserves - 18-21

    How to loop.
Have your potential loop player (Mr Loop) sit in bench spot 18 - someone who plays early ion the round.
Have a non-player (Mr Hole) in that position in your reserves.

If Mr Loop guy scores well - substitute Mr Hole into your starting team for the weakest player in his position.

The when scoring comes, Mr Hole will get an AE - and has highest ranked Bench player in that position, mr Loop comes in.

    Example for round 1

You think Matt Dufty might be OK as Dragons fullback, but aren't convinced.
    Name him at number 18

Team will look something like this

    Smith
    Lodge ALvaro
    Brown Murray Arrow
    Reynolds Watson
    Aubbs Milne
    Tedesco Rapana Ponga

    Garvey
    Cook
    Lichaa
    MCQueen
    Dufty
    Hiroti (Souths WFB)
    Croker
    Hiku

If Dufty scores well, then sub that deadshit Rapana out of your team and put Hiroti in his place.
Then Dufty will become the sub for Hiroti for end of round scoring.
(and if either of Tedesco or Ponga doesnt play, then Rapana gets back into your team)

Bit risky as you need to carry a dead position with you when cash making is already restricted by smaller squad size.

Certainly something to keep in mind if you ever end up with somebody out.

For captaincy loophole - looks like that will still be around as well.
Captaincy is locked, but doesn't say you can't sub your captain out of your 17.

I was following along... then you got nasty. Sad

Douehi is in contention for a bench spot at the Rabbits.

Like you said its a "prediction" I doubt that Hoffman will start I honestly thought he was a depth singing much like Myles was.

Welch will be getting time don't worry and I don't think Big Kas will be getting 30 mins regardless of how large the crumbled house he just trained down was

I just like the way NAS finished last season and played in the world cup. Seemed to come out of his shell and play with a lot of confidence. Too much potential for big scores not to start in my team
