    Thoughts on Gallen?

Tough opening draws in the first 10 rounds or so could see him do a lot of work?

    Fantasy always finds a way to screw you. Have this team at the moment;

    Smith
    Lodge Latu
    Merrin Murray RFM
    Croft Carty
    Mitchell Taka
    Ted Dufty Ponga

    Lichaa Cook AFB Katoa

    Havilli Croker Kennar Doueihi

I am 1K short on turning Doueihi into a 228K player!! So many options I'll miss out on, ugh. Don't really want to change anything else though, maybe Murray to Liu if things go that way. Come on ARey, you can sit out a few more weeks surely?!

On the topic of NRL doco's there is a four part doco on the Tigers pre-season being produced by NFL Films - should be a good watch.

Wolfking - I would not worry about Merrin's minutes in the trial, they're basically irrelevant (i read griffin did not make a single sub in the first half). looks like he got through plenty of work in his stint which is a good sign.

Seems like Fifita had a very good trial the other night. Actually the first thing I saw when I tuned into the trial was Fifita taking a hit up & doing his benchmark crab across the field raking up 2-3 tb's.

Yeah, I'll think I'll stick, saw him on NRL360 and seemed really genuine too and focused on the team and what he needs to do. I think he'll be more of a leader this year.

I've swapped Brown to Merrin, the extra 100k is highly valuable, but it also makes me super nervous. I don't care what Eels bench is like, I'm still fairly certain that Brown will pump out the scores. BUT, the line of thinking is, if Merrin can get within 5 points of Brown, then he's worth it. The saved 100k just needs to find me an extra 10 pts elsewhere Cheers

You just made me change my team again, I can't stop tinkering!! hahaha.

    Smith
    Lodge Fifita
    Merrin Murray RFM
    Croft Carty
    Mitchell Hiku
    Ted Ponga Katoa

    Lichaa Cook Latu Nicholls

    Havilli Croker Kennar Doueihi

Okay, gotta actually do some work today lol.

I'd play Kennar over Hiku & get rid of Hiku for a cheapie.

I'm torn now between the two teams I've posted on this page. I don't mind this one though actually. Would love to find a bit more to get Taka but running Kennar and fucking off Hiku allows me to upgrade Doueihi to a Thompson or Isaako.

Yesterday Barrett was on the radio mentioned D. Walker was a little behind on his recovery (initial estimate was a month so maybe now 6 weeks) & that J-Trbo's ball playing ability will see him used more as another option in attack.

For some reason I'm not feeling Takairangi as a pick. He'll probably only play 55-60 minutes as the Eels usually carry an edge 2fr like Edwards on the bench. I'd rather play a 228k & use the extra cash elsewhere. In fact there's no certainty that Taka will even crack the starting 13 in round 1. Last year Moeroa would start on the edge & then move to the middle after about 20 minutes & Edwards would come on.

I laughed the FPN signing...then I realised it'll potentially screw over BOTH SST and Liu! I'm hoping JWH, Napa, SST and FPN are the 4 props. Bench including 2 of them and Matterson and Tetevano?

Even Ridley could get a spot as a utility perhaps?

FPN surely doesn't get any where near the squad for roosters, and is just a depth signing. The bloke is garbage.

So 2RF and centre are the only positions I just can't seem to lock in now. Also bench make up (eg 1 cheapie in the 17 or two)

    Smith
    Lodge, Latu

    Croft, Moses

    Teddy, Ponga, Dufty

    Likewise, who have you considered?

    I can't decide to have:

Harris / Gallen (with James DPP cover)

    or

Merrin / J Turbo (with James DPP cover)

    Bang

I like the Merrin/Turbo pick but perhaps with Taupau as DPP cover. But I also want RFM and Murrayif named
