Looks pretty decent too me. Personally I'm steering clear of L.Croker. Been burnt by Feeney and Elgey and Field in previous seasons so just cant do that too myself . J Croker could be good if Raiders find form this year and hence more attacking stats + goals.

I don't think it's possible to dodge those types of guys. As an unknown there is always the chance of it happening. Chuck Babbey in with that lot grrrr

Braidon Burns, Feeny, Elgey, Phythian (even though not his fault) hard to avoid them all and they are always gonna pop up.

Better off having L.Croker rather than missing out on him IMO.

90% of teams will have him. If he scores well first round, are you going to spend a trade rushing him in while everyone else is already ahead of you?

Easy to remember the Feeney's and Pythians but they're always mentioned before the Sulis, the Cotrics and all the other 128k players last year who churned out some half-decent cash.

    Hey Lads,

I think I have my team ready for TLT.

    Smith (C)
    Lodge, J.Brom
    Brown (VC), RFM, Harris
    Cart, Croft
    Hiku, Milne
    Ted, Ponga Lolo

    Cook, Watson, Arrow, Lichaa
    Garvey, Kennar, Katoa, L.Crocker

Pretty happy with 14-17. Cook the only question mark.
Light on 2nd and front row. 18-21 will be dependent on TLT and whether there are any cheap FRF or 2RF that rise to the surface.

    only $50k in the kitty.

    Thoughts?

Lolohea has a hard opening 5 games including the Storm twice. I can't see him scoring that well. I could be wrong but I think stats wise fullbacks usually don't score that well when playing the Storm.

What's your thinking behind the Lolohea pick?

I just like him at the back. I may be having false memories, but I recall him going large quite a bit when at the back. Yes, he does have a hard run the first few weeks. But I am banking on him being a set and forget.

Fair enough mate. I've always rated him as a player too.

No Front Rowers in you 14-21. I'd fix that

Great team, but I would run with one of Cook/Lichaa and have a FRF back up

    I haven't got a FRF in my 14-21
Can anyone give me some available cheap options apart from Evans?

It could be Manly bias but I'm going with AFB pending team lists. He's named at 8 in the trials where as Lussick is at 10, Taupau's usual spot so my belief is that he will start with Lussick on the bench.
