he has lost 10kgs in pre season apparently so maybe he's pulled himself together a little bit. I doubt it lasts. I'm not overly confident of having him in my side but I'm unable to find much better for the same price.

You watch games from the back end of last season and it's clear as day, there's interactions/altercations behind the try line and times when players look to their outside to pass, see BJ and die with the ball. It wasn't even subtle. If nothing has changed I'm staying away

Which one of those clubs will get an injury (or HIA) in the halves and that hooker will have to play 80 mins ????????????

Dumb question I know, but if you are doing a draft league, Smith is by far the first choice player you want hey? I can make myself go first in my work league but then have to wait 16 picks or whatever until my round 2 pick. Worth it for Smith though, right?

Its such an unknown predicting some of these teams 8 weeks into the future.

Can Kikau keep CHN out of the team? Only Griffin really knows, and he might not even be the coach 8 weeks from now.

Can Havili keep the hooking spot at the Raiders? What if they sign Farah, or decide that Garvey is the man?

How long until Liddle gets to start for the Tigers? He is seemingly permanently on the injury list. McIlwrick might even get his spot back.

Noone can give a form answer on these, you just have to take whatever punt you are comfortable taking.

    Smith (c)
    SST Lodge
    Harris Whitehead Murray
    Cronk KNik
    Kennar Leilua
    Dufty Ponga Katoa
    Cook RFM Arrow BCartwright
    Griffin Nicholls Godinet Croker

I may downgrade Griffin to Kikau and swap Godinet for Kennar, bringing Hiku into my 13.

I am surprised so many are going with him now. The Raiders will probably be poor this season without Hodgson and I can see them not having as much possession as other teams most weeks as I don't rate their halves to run a game as well as other teams halves.

I’m going Leilua because the first three rounds for the Raiders are Titans, Knights, Warriors. After that it’s Manly, Bulldogs and Eels. First three matchups have great potential for all Raiders players, particularly Leilua.

Yeah, JReyn actually played a couple of sets in both trials at dummy half.

McIlwrick was great last year but God awful in the trials and Liddle has spent more time off the field then on it with injury. I actually thought with Benji Ci JBG back Cleary might entertain the idea of starting Grub back at Hooker.
