CS9
SST Lodge
RFM Whitehead Jurbo
Croft Moses
BJ Kennar
Turbo Ponga Katoa
Cook Rochow Carty Griffin
Havili Isaako Kikau Croker
Going with kennar because from the trials and his time at storm he is a tough guy!! And I think he will score a bag of tries on a fair few occasions

on a side note they fixed the search function so now when you type a players name you no longer have to scroll to their position to see them. progress after regress

Thinking the same but it feels like there are too many 50/50 players on my team right now. I'll probably end up chopping and changing it another hundred times before lock out.

Normally I spend my full salary cap - but I'm thinking this year with all the mid range potential I'm going to leave about 425k ITB and use the first week to see how a few teams shape up. That will let me upgrade a 228k player to a Merrin/Harris/Whitehead or a 400k pick who didn't work out as hoped to a top tier gun with one trade

Croker should be in all teams and provides it, unless you are starting him?
Which I'm not opposed to

Nothing too crazy from the lists released yesterday but some popular players benched.

So you don't want the points from the gun in round one?
Could be a waste of a trade. Your 228k players need more than a week in your team to make good money?

Do not like my centres. At some point over the next 40 hours going to do a comprehensive review of all possible options to see what can happen.
Think I'll put Inglis in if he gets DPP and I am confident in his fitness
Would prefer Cartwright and Hiku to be my backup half/centre rather than starting, will have to see what I can swing.
Guys who I will fit in my squad if I can get the cash include - Whitehead, James Graham, NBrown, Thurston, Aubusson, Lichaa
If SST gets DPP I might move him in for fifita and free up a bunch of cash to improve elsewhere
I have no confidence in Rochow's job security, but the upside is too big to ignore so he has to be there.
Nice looking team, once you tweak it then the flow on effect is contagious haha
Hopefully we get some quick DPP updates tomorrow as that will help me alot too
Think we have talked about all the popular players and it simply comes down to how we slot them in and where we go stronger
Think I need a sleep to come back and have another look over my squad haha

Have been at it all day haha, people are probably sick of me by now.
Sick of Excel and columns thats for sure and there is now way I could do it for a living.
Probably need 24 hours for it to digest and work out what the team lists mean for certain players again

Anyone have some stats on Ese Ese? Is the starting spot his or is he replacing an injured player?

Call me a pessimist, but I'm yet to have a first round where I didn't have to deal with some scrub who disappears never to be seen again, or have someone go down with a long term injury (even in the year I got the top score in Rd 1). If I spend the money now (eg Fifita in for AFB), I'll get the extra points, but if I need to make changes next week I'll be very limited in who I can bring in for the low-mid rangers that make up the majority of the team. With the reduced squad size, I think this becomes very important
