Although even if he stays at $212k for buying and selling, his background price will drop lower, and he'll have to make that money back before you will see any profit.

Fuck. Forgot he was 212k. Budget 30k not 15k for a move to Isaako, or 70k+ to Hiku. Although he's on my bench so might hold pending other wfb cows turning up in next couple of weeks. Will certainly hold if his jaw's not broken.

Thing is they never game him the ball because every time Dugan has it he would either fuck it up or kick it out on the full!

Horrible second stint, finished his first on 29 points I think, few TBs 28 tackles with the odd error/PC

Finished the game with 33 tackles, pissed me right off, thing is everytime he did carry it he made massive inroads, just being a lazy cunt

They seemed to run him as a decoy a lot too and skip past him or was that just him getting into that position so he didn’t have to hit the ball up? Hahaha

Would he get the fullback role you reckon mate? If I have to replace Katoa, I will probably go the safer route of downgrading Whitehead and going for someone more substantial like Dufty/Croker

Isaako has played fullback in other grades Welshy but it is a big ask and Bennett to me is slowly but surely losing the plot.

I think the safer option is better depending on what else occurs this round. Dufty still scored O.K and he was out of the game for large

periods of time. He appears to be one of those players who are blessed by the scoring gurus in this format, you see it every season.

8 tackle breaks helps too haha.. But yeah he scored well from not a lot of work, so imagine if he does make an extra break or score a try
With the way the Dragons forwards are this year too, he will have plenty of running metres too
I know there was talk earlier of him bulking up a bit but he definitely looks stronger and filled out more

I had him in and out of my team many times Boozecluez but finally went Mitchell in his place and Aubbs and Kenner in the centres.

Who knows how it will turn out but like you say there will be rounds when Dufty will run riot if his body holds up to the rigours of

first grade and his forwards give him the go forward.

The second game tonight was awful for me. JT with 2 try assists and scores 31??? Katoa starting too. I was going well before that with Griffin, Ponga, Jurbo and Aitken.

I have JT in Supercoach and Dreamteam Milf and he has another round to perform. To me that shoulder of his is a factor in his performances

and this will be his last season. He can still provide some brilliant plays but to a lesser degree and his defence hurts in this format and Dreamteam.

So im gonna talk through this and see if i am missing something. I reckon many are on this line of thinking too.

I have Katoa as starting WFB (yes im an idiot).

I have 150k leftover in the bank.

I have Kennar in my EMG and I do not have Isaako.

    My options:
    1. Wait till next week and trade to Isaako
    2. Wait till next week and trade to someone else with the 150k (can't see anyone apart from Isaako
    3. Downgrade someone now (SST, Murray or RFM) and then straight to Dufty/Gun next week.
    4. Option I am not thinking of.....?

    Team is

    Smith
    Lodge-SST
    RFM-Murray-Brown
    Croft- Carty
    Hiku-Inglis
    Ponga-Teddy-Katoa

    Lichaa-Cook-Griffin-Kikau
    Nicholls-Havili- Kennar-Croker

White Lightning wrote:Katoa's performance up until he went off was probably one of the worst debuts I've ever seen. Instead  of trying to get involved he just stayed on his wing. I think he was scared to do the dirty work because he didn't want to get smashed. He was half hearted & hesitant & because of this attitude he broke his jaw because he went in to contact half hearted.

It was a complete contrast to the Tigers/Sharks trial-he was a standout and was looking for work the whole team. They were both pretty much full strength teams, but yeah, still only a trial but he was very impressive.

First year Ive left a decent amount $137,000

Even considering downgrading Whitehead to fund an upgrade of Katoa - Dufty/Edwards/JCroker/Leilua

Been looking at Papalii as a Whitehead downgrade, I'm just worried he gets moved next week if Manners returns
