It’s like Kikau/Papalii last year was one too early if you picked them up

Every base price player option I have gotten wrong this weekend.
So frustrating and have to play catch up from the start

Yeah I picked him up last year in the autofill league.
Honestly it scared me a bit but the bloke is a giant. I really liked him when I saw him last year. He just looked a little lazy. Someone mentioned having an inside with the Panthers and it was about him putting in work in the offseason and they wanted to make him a starter. So that was a good sign.

Glad I stayed with Kikau. Couldn't be bothered trying to make a late change with limited options to bring in for him, especially with those world cup memories. Just decided to hope he'd come on after 30 and play at least 40 minutes. Phew.

Optus Stadium is awesome. Played the games in the wrong order though, the cuzzies all left or lost attention when the Dogs V Storm game came on. The lightshow got a lot of shit but it was awesome to be at live and looked pretty cool from the highlights I saw. Atmosphere was brilliant not sure how it came across on TV but to have 38K at the game was great for NRL in Perth. The State of Origin game we've got here next year is going to blitz that.

Its like we look at all the stats, think it through with strategy, calculate minutes and read all articles, check late mail, team lists and base our decisions on that.
Then the average fantasy punter looks at the fantasy app, sees a green dot and goes “sweet cheap starting player” and doesn’t even realise the other stuff.
Haha I love this game

Nathan Cleary is a ridiculously impressive young half. Great running game, incredible footy smarts, kicking game on point etc. I can't believe he's still so young with the maturity he displays. Going to be a real threat in years to come.
