Fortitude wrote:Slow day in the office. Keep staring at my team but not sure what to do with it. Have been lucky with scores from my cows in last two weeks. Is there any trade that stands out as an obvious choice.

Im think no. But I LOVE trading.

    Smith
    Lodge, Arrow
    Harris, Merrin, Jurbo
    Cronk, Douhi
    Croker, Isaako
    Teddy, Ponga, Hiku

    Cook, Griffen, Carty,Kikau

    Nichols, Godinet, Havili, Croker

I mean if you are really desperate and from your posts I think I recall you not having much of a kitty so .....

    1) Cronk to Murray - Cartwright goes from bench to your halves.
    2) Purely for trade rage get Nicholls out for Marshall-King. It'd be a decent trade as your halves become a bit of a roulette with Cartwright, Croker, Doueihi and Marshall King but theres some low end depth and you've used all your trades for the week.

This is based on low money in the kitty. If you have cash just go Nichols straight to Murray. TLT dependent of course.

    Mitchell - Thompson/Hiku
    Croft - Cook

If Lichaa plays 80 I think he will average 50 points regularly rather than Mitchell's abysmal start to the year and fluctuation of points

    Wait for TLT.

I'd rather not trade a gun even if its in the CTRs (trades are precious). If Nu Brown or another bench hooker is there drop Lichaa instead. I'm even only advocating this as I believe Cook is a must have.

Also trading two failed cows (Croft and Lichaa) to a new cow (Thompson/Hiku) and a gun (Cook) is better than sideways trading a gun? (Mitchell) to a gun (Cook) and a failed cow (Croft) to a half spent cow (Hiku/Thompson).

Ive got about 100k. Which isn't really enough to do anything. Im thinking I don't have much choice but to continue riding the luck with the cheapies until the price rises start slowing up. Then begin the slaughter.

Anyone else sing the cows with guns song in their head when looking at their team. Just me. Okaay.

    Pulu was off-loading like a mad-man, wasn't he?

I don't think the Warriors are going to change their plan of attack this weekend.

Sam Cook unlucky to be dropped, injured or Tevaga playing that well in ISP?

Looking to get some pre-TLT advice. This new layout messed with me and Im out of ideas at the moment. Gonna throw my team up to be picked apart and hopefully salvage my season.

    HOK: Smith
    FRF: Lodge, Arrow
    2RF: Harris, Brown, RFM
    HLF: Croft, Cartwright
    CTR: Manu, Croker
    WFB: TTrbo, Thompson, Ponga

    R:Cook, Rochow, Griffin, Kikau
E: Hiku, Havili, L. Croker, Kennar
    140k ITB

First plan is to swap Hiku and Manu, then possibly trade Manu + Croft to maybe Murray + ???

Im thinking some curve balls might come from the raiders. Tapine injured, Bj out (anyone got info on how long), whitehead and Cotric both noted as injured during game (played through injury and expected to play rd3), Gubb not looking likely.

    FROM SPORTING NEWS

    JOEY LEILUA INJURY UPDATE

Raiders centre BJ Leilua was stretchered off the field in the 16th minute of their 30 - 28 loss to the Knights on Sunday, after collapsing on his ankle.

According to the Raiders, Leilua had a scan Monday afternoon to discover the extent of his injury, with results expected to be released Tuesday.

Sporting News’ own NRL Medico says that the mechanism of the injury looked like:

    - A medial ligament strain (ligaments on the inside of the ankle). Grade 1 = 2 – 4 weeks. Grade 2: 4 -8 weeks. Grade 3 = 8 > weeks.
    - Or, a syndesmotic sprain (high ankle sprain) Grade 1 = 6 weeks, Grade 2 = 6-12 weeks, Grade 3 = 3 months >
    - Or, there’s a very small chance it could be a broken leg but the way he wasn't able to fully weight bear means it may be a small chance.

    So basically no further information.

    McInnes
    Rochow, Vaughan
    Crichton, De Belin, Griffin
    Carty, Croker
    Hiku, Kennar
    Ponga, Teddy, Thompson

    Cook, Sao, Lui, Godinet
    Nicholls, Isaako, Havili, Papalii

Ok took a risk traded out Watson for Isaako and playing croker no backup half and Hayne to Lui.

I heard Papalii is out for about 6 week thinking about keeping him maybe Sao will get the 12 when Mannering comes back and replace Sao with Carty so I can get a keeper half.

Yep. It's a solid team you have. Croft & Manu > Doueihi & Murray

I'm really not hopeful on Lichaa playing 80. I think King going to the halves is even worse for Lichaa as Nu Brown would be a much better bench utility/backup hooker. Lichaa would probably see less minutes again.

When I look at him, he looks like he may have put on some weight and size, maybe he isn't fit enough?

Yeah, he's definitely carry quite a few extra kg's for some reason. Not good kg's either.
