Keep Latrell and miss out on TPJ?

It was originally going to be Croft and Latrell for TPJ and Cleary. I'd have to use Hiku and Kennar at CTR.

Now I'm thinking Croft and Hiku to Cleary and Isaako/Robinson/Sao.

He only has to be a good money making option, which he currently is mate

I could be wrong, but I think mattnz was referring to Verbal's question in regards Havili to Murray. So not necessarily a cash thing but more a points thing.

Havili to Murray, no brainer in the long run. if they both continue on last games score will rise about the same so an extra 20 points from Murray. Nice

I have no problem with people being happy to hold Havili (code, welshy etc) and in most cases people will definitely have more pressing issues. He's making money so hold all you like if you're patient and prepared for a slow burner. As Welshy alluded to, my comments were more about the speed he was making his money. What's the point in a cow that potentially takes 26 rounds to make any coin?

Definitely no hate for him, just no love either.

Think I might go Croft and SST out. DCE and Doueihi in. Coming from sc I'm used to having at least one gun half in my squad. Can get JT, walker but leaning more towards DCE.

I don't really like either of those. I'm holding Latrell (I kinda have to though with other probs to deal with) but you just know the minute you trade him out he will put up a 70. And Hiku is another player with a -1 BE! Very sideways to Isaako et al. Your main issue is Croft though. Do you have any cash or other underperformers?

I was also considering Robinson but I need him this week in my WFB and I can just see Coach Robbo punting him for Maubbs instead and reaming me good and proper. And then JMK popped up, so I NEED him to go well. If I wish hard enough it will happen right?

I bear the scars of previous encounters with Robbo Mulvy. He is hard to catch but he will get a double or triple somewhere and then go back into hiding.

I am going Nichols to Isaako along with the Roosters centre I cannot name at the moment to Murray.

If Havili averages 30 from now in 4 weeks he makes 110k
Though if he somehow manages to maintain his average of 34.5  try then you are looking at close to 150k in 4 weeks.
He is already earning well given his first 2 scores so the hard work is done, just need to squeeze on his udder a bit more

People must have some awesome cows if Havili is on the chopping block already, but if it brings in a keeper then you can't blame them

I hear ya Booze tho as others have stated, there's a try and inflated minutes in there. We play "fantasy" football and a lot of what we work on is theories. Every chance he scores 35 and makes coin, from what I've personally seen tho I wouldn't expect it

What Welshy said basically but still think you play Hiku given the way the Warriors are going

Yeah - think I'll do that.

In the app it won't let me sub directly between Kennar and Hiku (duplicates one of the players) - not a problem (can go via the bench) but something to be wary of in case you need to switch DPPs during the round

Well in that case, take out Murray's tries last year and have a look at his average Wink

But regarding Havili yes he got potentially got an extra 8 minutes but he is a utility after he starts at hooker so with HIA's then he could get more.
Also the Raiders haven't gone well, 30 minutes for a hooker isn't the norm so perhaps this increases as Blake Austin is on the bench now?

Sezer has said today in the Canberra times he isn't a hooker and will cover Havili when he needs a 'rest' with Austin 'injected' into the game.
The Knights do this with Griffen....

    The team looks like this..

    Smith, Cook, Griffin
    Arrow, Lodge, Rochow, Kikau
    JTurbo, RFM, Murray, Nicholls
    Croft, Douehi, Carty, Croker
    Latrell, Kennar, Haiku
    Teddy, Thompson, Ponga

The only real underperformed is Nicholls.

I have 322k in the bank so Croft can nab me anyone under $831k (Just short of Cleary, but could go Macca).

NuBrown more than likely performs the same role as Marshall but the fact Pay is happy to mix it up this early gives us hope that if this doesn't work then he changes things again in a couple of weeks. Sticking with Lichaa for the foreseeable future.

He isn't really losing cash and he isn't a big jump from a gun so it could be worse.
At least you are guaranteed solid 35-40 scores until something better comes along or the game plan changes

I might upgrade Nicholls instead of trading Lichaa and see what happens for a week. I'm clinging to the hope that NuBrown is there incase Marshall is stinking it up and gets hooked but I doubt it. Lichaa has showed potential, but only for the 80 minutes. If he gets under 40 this week again (if I decide to keep him) then he gets upgraded next week.

Haven't been following the discussion but something else worth mentioning is that after the first week Havili apparently said to stick that he wants more minutes and is good for it, so its possible he was going to get that time playing as a runner even if there were no injuries.

Personally i hope we do away with 3 halves and actually play blokes who can defend but even if we had a second hooker on the bench i wouldn't be against having them both on the field at the same time to tighten up defence. On the whole Raiders halves/hookers thing i'm sure i read someone saying Hingano wasn't named for mounties this week, who knows what that means but maybe someones about to get a kick up the ass in the next few weeks? Wishful thinking i guess...
