This is the most excited I've been as Warriors fan since Cleary left.

Write them off at your peril

I watch alllllllll the games. Not writing them off in the least, but three games at the start of the season doth make for a poor sample size, especially against some very weak teams. They have Roosters, Cowboys, Broncos, Dragons, Storm for their next 5 games, I am going to suspend my hopes for them until the close of round 8.

@Loomer Agree! @MTB Yes, so the real test comes round 4 to 8. But everybody bags them unjustly. 3 teams did worse than them last season, but Warriors still cop the worst hate.

Titans aren't bottom 4 yet. Teams that the Warriors have beat are in bottom 4 after 3 games played. What are the chances

Panthers without Cleary don't look as strong on attack and they were exposed in that last game. Barring injury, Warriors pip at least one of them going on current form. BUT it's a long season

Cowboys didn't look very convincing in their first 3 games of 2015 either.
    0/3 and ended up premiers.

Still way to early in the season to judge a team's chances

Remember when people selected the wrong Nikorima and started the season with Kodi instead of Jayden yet it turned out to be the right choice in the long run. I have a feeling the same thing will occur with Katoa.

I think you might be a bit defensive about your team mate (which is fine, we all are- talk shit about the bunnies and prepare to fight me!  Laugh 3 ) Nobody here is bagging them. I would love to see the Warriors do well. They arn't even my team but I still went to their grand final in 2011 and cheered them on. But I have seen too much good form crumble to make hasty calls.
Dragons looked like worldbeaters even up to the halfway point of the comp last year.

But I get it, until 2012-ish I had spent my entire life watching my footy team lose- and badly. It is exciting to finally see your team play well.

Dick move on my part to rain on your parades.
Good luck for the season Warriors fans, I will be routing for you!

I think the difference this year is that we look fit. Add to that the Warriors of previous years would of lost yesterdays game, potentially even round 1 when we were down 14-0 or whatever it was. Don't forget the Warriors barely win in round 1, they dont win in Perth, and have never won 3 in a row to start the season.

Oh well, still months to go lol.

And rightfully so. Because on paper their team should have made the 8 last year. Yet they failed to do so. Again.

So here is a better question- who misses out on the top 8 to let the Warriors in?
    Eels look the likely candidates.
But let's say that Storm, Cowboys, Roosters and Dragons look almost certainties.
Sharks, Broncos and Panthers very likely.

I would not claim the Warriors prospects look better than these 7 teams.
If they do make the 8, I think they will make it in by the skin of their teeth

Panthers no way with Cleary missing 10 weeks.

Clearly its my opinion that the teams they've beaten will be bottom four, come end of season. Just as it is everyone elses opinion, as to where the warriors finish.

First three rounds rarely define a season. Can certainly give a side momentum though, but not until about round 9 or 10 that the ladder really takes it shape, bar the odd late season run or fade out.

Even with Taylor playing the Dragons should stroll through for an easy win.

Another win for the Jedi Knights today?

With the gut(herson)-less Eels playing like rubbish, I might cheer for the wooden spooners this weekend.

    And... Verstappen bounce

Lol I am a tad defensive, but not offended and I hope I'm not being offensive. Just happy to see them turning up after 6 years of disappointment! Kind of "boy who cried wolf" scenario lol I do think Titans and Raiders will be bottom 4 though so fair that they haven't really been tested yet

Titans strike me as a team where if you aren't on your game, they can surprise you. Every so often they pull 1 out of the bag.

I actually think this may happen today. At very least, a close game. +8 line looks juicy to me.
