I'm thinking it could very well be worth the money to go from Nicholls to Rochow also.

Absolutely loving your work, mtvb. One request - is it possible to add the match score to the live games coverage? Your site is now a one-stop resource for when we're not able to be watching the games so would be a handy extra to know, even if not directly fantasy relevent.

Yeah second this one just because I think it is somewhat fantasy relevant. Whenever I'm checking the scores but can't catch the game its nice to know if a player is putting up those points in a winning/losing team or a close game/blowout. Doesn't tell the whole tale obv but its nice at a glance.

Watching the 'big league wrap' and they questioned DCE on supercoach.
Said he plays it and you need to be unbiased with players but doesn't pick himself anymore as
"you think about it too much and would be throwing offloads all over the place"

i like this idea because it differentiates your website from the regular match centre. gives people another reason to visit and then stay

I remember telling Jack Bird a couple years back before the game that I would put him in my fantasy team if he threw some offloads.
He was grabbing a coffee pre game and while we waited i joked about how he should up his fantasy game and told me he would see what he could do

He had a great game and off memory scored well, but it still took me the rest of the year to finally bring him in.
He ended up sitting in my NPR's as he went to shit and didn't score well, but at least I held my end of the bargain haha

I am surprised that active players are allowed to play SC. Imagine being in round 26, and in with a shot at $50k for first prize and have a few of the opposition in your team. You see professional athletes getting banned for $5 bets on games they aren't involved in.

They used to have celebrity teams in the Dream Team days, hence the name of his team.
They aren't going to throw games because of SC and generally if they score well in real life they should do well in the fantasy side.
End of the day DCE said in the same conversation that its just bit of fun for some players during the week, Harmless fun
I remember he even used to captain himself haha

So for the undercover players on this site reading this, if your name isn't Kane Elgey then send me a message and I will put you in my team next week haha
Sorry Kane, I just can't take negative points mate

It is an interesting thought re players and playing fantasy/SC, but i think it both very unlikely that a) any player would take their team as seriously as we do, and b) fantasy points is anywhere near a players mind come game time.

Its a bit like batting in cricket. Your batting average is such a massive part of how you are judged as a cricketer, but you really arent thinking about that when you go out to bat. And in that comparison, a fantasy score is nearly irrelevant to how a player will be judged.

I probably just took this convo a bit too seriously. Coffee

Love your work MTB, bought you a beer or two. Possible suggestion: When I'm watching the games and someone is scoring really well or really poorly, I'm always wondering how many people own that guy. Maybe add %ownership to the the live scores pages if you have room? And thanks again.

How well are the Broncos really going to go this week? Titans will be out for redemption after yesterday, a few ex-Broncos in the the team and a couple of injuries for the Broncos. I'm half tempted to bring in a Broncos half but it's probably a bad idea right?

Is it a one night stand, or do you want a relationship with them for a few months?

A good score could kick start a few rounds of price rises and I need to try something. I think you might have answered the question though. Although the question was more about how the Broncos will go, your thoughts?

Titans are one of 4 teams that I am backing other sides to be scoring well against, so I think there is merit in the idea. The others are Knights, Eels, Raiders. All seem to leak points like a sieve.

Personally I am shying away from trying to pick top scoring halves though and trying to guide my team towards consistent points every week. The main thing that has killed my chances of leading overall are the 2-3 scores under 30 each week. Resolving that is my priority, by getting players that will be sure to get 40+ each week, while getting rid of those that can get <30 where I can, then 900+ scores are possible each week.

Id be happy to add ownerships into the match centre, hopefully not too clogged but should be fine.

Whos still carrying Inglis.. thoughts? May as well just sit on him now is what im thinking.. but hes a bit of a worry. Basically priced at 30 now anyway
