    Hmm tough one.

These first 2-3 weeks are exactly the time to sort out your mistakes and get on the good cows.

I’ll try and relax now (or soon) until the bye period but until now been maxing out to correct this team and let the value grow

I've used 4. I think it's good that I'm agonising over selling Cartwright or Croker to get Mbye as rest are ticking along scoring ok and/or making money

    Katoa > Thompson
    Croft > Murray
    SST > Isaako

Those are my trades so far. Glad I started with most of the decent cows.

Should just let them make money now

    Merrin > Murray
    Carty > rfm

Having started with hiku isaako and Kikau really helped. Not looking to trade much more until forced to. Got a decent combo of slow burners and quick earning cows. Will start trading for bye coverage in rd 11 no point rushing trades in 10rds out when ineveitbly those players get injured anyway

yeah. he's done for me. Will most likely be Merrin to Matterson next week as was planned, will cost me a few more $$ and (probably) points. Hopefully Matterson is solid this week without going gangbusters. Trying to see the silver lining - maybe something happens before then which makes another move more important or valuable (looking for a positive here). You know, maybe the Carty Party plays 80 min edge role by next weekend and I don't need a half so badly afterall. I was happy to have only used 3 trades in three weeks.

The stats match up for Dugan. If I didn't already have a "gun" centre in Croker I probably would have done the same

I was willing to give him a chance on the back of 1 bad score and with that possible injury news last week. However, he has now got back to back 40 minute stints. The latest with one of the 80 minute backrowers going down in the first minute of the second half and Kikau now stealing minutes too. Also zero offloads in last 2 games. Hes never been the same since Sally left.

Kikau is 47% ownership now, wow aha.

Cartwright dropped to 43% - pretty sure he was 49 at the start of the week. That's a big drop.

27% have Thurston, wow. Gotta assume vast majority are casuals.

Mbye 6.87% - think he was about 2.5 before last week.

The benefit if saving trades early is you can more easily deal with origin byes and injury.

The downside is that you miss out on some good scorers at their cheapest price. If you got your initial team right this isn't so much of a problem.

Kennar out now means I have Inglis and Dugan in my centres.

That's one of the weird things about fantasy - I have two rep players as centres and I am worried about the scores of both and would rather Kennar was fit to play. :/

    Cook
    Kikau, Lodge
    Murray (c), NBrown, RFM
    Douehi, JMK
    Inglis, Dugan
    Ponga, Tedesco, CThompson

    Cook, Dufty, Aarow, Griffin

    EMG: Havili, LCroker, Carty

The other option was Isaako. Who will probably score less than Dugan but save me more cash.
If I knew Kahu was going to break his jaw, I'd have started with Isaako. Just the luck of things sometimes

    Well played sir

That was me mate but it's a fluke I have both. In round 1 when Kikau moved to bench by Griffin I sold Kikau to JFH. Then I re-purchased Kikau in round 2. I don't know why JFH played 65 minutes last night because the last 2 games he's only played about 50 mins. Hard case I've been playing JFH over Kikau in my 17 up until this round & Kikau has been outscoring JFH so last night I play Kikau over JFH in my 17 & JFH outscores Kikau.

Mate I got to see a Zebra pleco up at an aquarium miles and miles away. I was so keen on getting one but they were $950 ea or he’d let me have the two for $1899 the nice guy Rolling Eyes I could never drop that sort of cash on a fish

Mate honestly Rabs I looked at both him and Maloney at the start of the week for Merrin but Arrow getting the lock position made me bring him in. I feel like I’ve half dodger a bullet cause I was swinging more towards Peachy
