Going along the lines of one gun for two guns.

    Smith > JTurbo
    Merrin > DCE/Koro

I feel bad for trading Smith, and I feel like I'll be missing the cash from JFH/Maloney.

I think that will be my only trade. Yes, it's Maloney but we saw last week what he is capable of. I'm not rushing wasting trades and downgrading players or getting players that I don't want due to not enough funds, I'd rather punt on him for a few weeks and see what happens when he peaks.

Being next to Kikau don't forget is handy.

Are you getting him out of interest?

Both when he was not the dominant kicking half.

Even if you only add 100m of kicks onto those averages that's 39 and 33 which is about what most people are expecting him to score on average over the next few weeks.

    Yes.

Better history than Kennar or Thompson. Doesn't mean much now though

Does Dylan Walker take the goal kicking duties back for Manly?

The only reason I'd do Maloney is the high owned player issue but honestly I'd be wary of playing in 17. I'm leaning towards 1 or no trades this week. Havili or Croker only ones I can justify selling but Havili more minutes maybe I should hold. Leota -4 with bench hooker in 17 is most appealing as want to get more FRF cover

DCE said he wanted to be goal kicker and has landed 19/22 so I don't see why he'd lose them

    I wonder when we would know about TPJ being in or not. Broncos usually pretty good with that sort of stuff, no bullshit. Gotta decide who misses out;

Kikau, Arrow, Murray, Whitehead, RFM, Griffin, Rochow or Lodge. Shame we probably won't know before Thursdays game though. Probably Lodge or even leave TPJ out for the week regardless and see how he goes with minutes?

To be honest they are all performing very well. I am sure you won't lose to many (if any) points by just monitoring TPJ this week.

True, that's what I was thinking. If he plays he will probably get eased back in anyway.

Wolfy I always value you opinion. If Turbo doesn't make the cut I will be running with only 2 WFB this week as my cover is injured. Should I trade CS9 for a gun WFB in RTS/Teddy/Edwards? I will then have 3 set and forget WFB in Ponga Turbo and one of the three. Thoughts??
My Hookers would then be Cook and Havili.

    Doui Havili Kennar Katoa

    108K ITB

I am thinking of CS9 to RTS/Edwards/Teddy. Storm play first so I cant see if Turbo gets the run before storm play.

With Turbo at 19 this week and Kennar still out I need another WFB to cover.

Why not Havili/Doui to Inglis? 27 BE and looks to be coming back to a faster match pace. Terrible for byes as he plays Origin but the best WFB/CTR coverage I can see at a tradeable price (Dugan is too expensive and has similar Origin issues)

Although next week/the week after would be optimal you could trade in Holmes (good for rd 13, skewed by a few poor rounds and should make the money back when his negatives drop out and they don't play the storm with 1,000,000 stoppages).

Alternately Turbo -> any WFB you like. Its sideways and I don't like it but works for injury purposes.
Or Katoa -> G. Jennings / R. Robinson / JMK (Haven't seen a lot of promise from this group but theres your Katoa options)

Those who are screaming "GOD NO DON'T BRING HIM IN!!!!" are maybe not realising that people are bringing him as a punt for short term gains. If he makes $100k-$150k I think most would be happy with that and then trade him up. Anything more than that and you're laughing all the way to the bank. He's a stepping stone and we need fast cash in this new comp setup.

Those bringing him in expecting anything more than a short term option that may fail spectacularly may need to have a think about it.

This is my way of thinking now, which is the complete opposite of 24 hours ago! I may even bring him in for a couple of weeks. Carty needs to go, why not bring a similarly priced bloke in who could make 100k to justify the trade.

I've saved 2 trades, I'm happy to take the risk and had to use one on Carty anyway.

For the haters-I'm not expecting last week's points; I'd be happy with a couple of 30's and 80k over the next fortnight and I need a half anyway.

In regards Tyrone May changing everything, he hardly kicked last year in general play and didn't take any kicks at goal either. Even if he is on track to come back you would be sceptical that he would be in the run on side first game back.
