I'm hoping so. Would be an easy trade from Douehi next week. I reckon there's a good chance he starts there this week..

Yep, here's hoping. Also, Murray was on 38 before that try.

That's the only thing worrying me about putting the C on him. His minutes though should increase with Surgess out.

Good Idea. Thanks, heaps mate. If I put Turbo on the interchange I assume that means if he doesn't end up playing I get Havili's score but if he does play I get his??

I know @welshy has been talking about AReynolds lately. Some upside to bringing him in would be that you've got Doueihi as a perfect a handcuff in the event of another injury.

Yeah I lost the balls to captain Cam when I heard Burgers was out, so Murray it is. Can't switch back now that Cam isn't goalkicking.

Not a fan of captaining fullbacks unless it's a bye weekend.

Don't really trust Arrow just yet either.. but could be worth a punt now that he's in his natural position and showed he's capable.

Is Lodge to JFH a waste of a trade? I am looking at the cash generation as Lodge seems to be slowing down.

I too am holding Smith and am looking at Carty to Maloney and the Lodge to JFH trade.

Other option is Carty to a 212k player (No more cash generating) and Lodge to a Mattersen or similar priced half.

Team after those tentative trades will be:

    Macca
    Arrow, Kikau,
    Murray, Jurbo, RFM
    Maloney, Croker (LOL)
    Hiku, Isaako (DOUBLE LOL)
    Tedesco, Thompson, Ponga

    Reserves
    Smith, Cook, Griffin, Rochow

    EMG
    JFH,TPJ,Kennar, Douehi

I know I have two potential guns in my EMG but it's all about the cash at the moment..

Barrett has said Turbo is a good chance of playing on Sunday.

Apparently he scored 4 tries the other week. Will be keeping an eye out. Agree, perfect trade for Doueihi.

At a 40 average lodge still has about 125k to make, which I think is very reasonable. Only played 40 mins last week and managed 39, possibly due to the ass infection. I don't reckon you need to trade him. I'm still nervous about JFH's ongoing role especially as I've brought him in for Merrin.

Interestingly, Lodge is pretty disciplined on the footy field. Only 2 penalties in 4 games, averages 2 missed tackles which isn't too bad given how we've been playing, and only 1 error in last three games since his nervy debut in rnd 1.

Yeah I put the C on Murray with Surgess out...  even so Arrow might be a good option too after last week's performance

yeah, it's pretty horrid to look at, especially with TPJ and Lodge/JFH in my EMG...

Not sure how I got into this pickle.

Yeah, probably is a bit of a waste of a trade. The other option is Smith out. Oh no, not this again.

Lodge has 120k to make with 40 average and 40 average is gold the way this season is going. I've seen people talking about selling because he isn't in their 17 while struggling to play 2 CTRs and halves the last 2 weeks

Agreed, I'm hoping to carry lodge up to 600k and assess from there. Not a big step to turn him into a big gun from there

    @megaturtle

Agree with @Rapture_NRL about getting in a WFB.

Reverse the Macca trade (you'll miss tops 50k in price rises - he won't be unattainable anytime soon) and go either:

    A)  Bromwich to Edwards (When TTurbo is back Thompson should have peaked and gives you a stacked back 3 of Ponga, Turbo, Edwards)
Cartwright to Maloney (Cartwright is an urgent trade as Doueihi likely will be next week - upgrade to Croker with your limited bank)

    B) Cartwright to JFH (good 4th bench player - you lose Smith and put Cook to starters)
Smith to DCE (gives you great halves - 30 point improvement over Croker)

    C) Cartwright to JMK (gives you WFB/HLF cover and a lot of cash to upgrade to Macca later)
Smith to anyone you like (Maybe even Macca if you are sold on needing a captain)

Team B should give you a higher scoring team (if you think Smith is falling from grace) but doesn't give you WFB cover. I'm more of a H2H player and like option A as I have faith in Smith to be back to 50+ consistent scores in a week or two even if now isn't great. The immediate lost cash doesn't mean much that the trades saved won't give me. Option C is looking super short term but banks you more cash to deal with your other trades.

Looking to the future I think Bromwich will hold value and can go anytime but now and in a week or so I see Carty, Doueihi, Havili, Croker and Thompson will all need to go from your team.
