Not any forwards on the injury list for the Panthers. If he doesn't start he plays from the bench. Hoping last weeks rotation is indication o the future.

First thoughts on trades this week.
Go with forum group huggs of RFM to JFH.

Started the season with Manu in CTR. Dumb
Second trade is Griffin to Aitken. Feels better running Aitken over spud Manu.
Weakens my emergencies but increases the points I score.

Definitely not. DPP with 2 good scores but still under 300k. Job security is the issue.

Group hugs aside, haha, JFH is fast becoming someone I want to actually watch just play footy. Hopefully Hook shares the sentiment.

Looks much bigge this year, always been a unit, but looked to have added bulk to his frame and running hard with purpose every carry

I remember quite liking JFH I think it was 2016 or maybe early 2017 but then he had a run of injuries. The birth of CHN last year was because JFH just couldn't stay fit and eventually just didn't get back in. Seems like he's over all that and finding his full potential on the field. It was always clear that when Griffin was coach he favoured him, just the injuries let him down. One reason why I was skeptical at the start of the season was his injury history but looks like it may be time to take a punt on him.

I think you just indulged your fetish for headbands mate!

Rabs had me questioning myself when he laughed at me for suggesting CUrray wasn't the best choice for the round. Then how hard was it watching all those Captain choices post 60/70/80 odd through the round? I immediately regretted it the C on JArrow at first Lockout when I saw the late mail that he could move back to Prop.

Then Ramesh and Sanjay kept adding then taking off his over the line when scoring TB's.

I need a half and I need a half bad.
DCE and SJ are the only halves to be getting in IMO.
And I can afford anybody below those two Sad
Seriously can't separate so many between Matterson, Townsend, even Ash Taylor- none are really keepers (Matterson maybe if he can hold 80 mins, but a big risk).

I am actually thinking about Mbye for the moment, because even if he isn't a keeper half, he should be in WFB and I don't mind him moonlighting whilst Thompson peaks and gives me more time to see if any other cheaper keepers emerge.

Surely there are not only two keepers at half this season?

Edit: Hearing Jarome Hughes could be in for Melbourne. Would be replacing Croft I suspect? For his price, I will absolutely roll the dice on him untested. I don't think he knows how to not score tries.

    on the doui situation

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXx5Ky5ySrI

got no mention by coach here

he says areynolds has trained 4 or 5 times since january. he also mentioned alex johnston in the 'playmaking' group with walker and reynolds. so inglis to full back or walker to full back seems unlikely to happen soon

    worth a quick listen tbf

If Hughes gets a crack, I'd be very tempted too. Kid is an absolute gun and I rate him. Depends if they see Croft as the successor and Hughes just comes in to fill the void until Croft gets back in.

Didn't click but I'm guessing that's from 360? Yeah, seems like the thought of Doueihi dethroning ARey is very very unlikely.

@Pookus McFly SJ and DCE have both established themselves early on as the gun halves. I feel Pearce will return to form now that he's more comfortable with his new team. But I don't there will be any others as consistent and high scoring

Think Munster will be a gun scorer when the Storm start getting even half their shit together. Origin puts him a bit down the list of buys but he's probably as cheap as he's going to get.
