The problem with Munster at 6 is he doesn't have the ceiling of Munster at fullback without a multi try game. His biggest score last year came with 2 goals, nearly double his season average in tackles, 3 tbs, 2 try assists, 3 line breaks and 3 offloads for an 89.

I don't have the stats, but I'm pretty sure he played back half of the season at 6 last year? All his scores were 50+

    Do i remember incorrectly?

51 average for Munster at FB in 2016

49 average last year, but 51 average from 13 games at 6.

I reckon he'll have enough of those do-everything games to average that again.

Wouldn't hurt if having to wait a week though with his BE at 49.

DCE averaged 50 and 49 the last 2 years by comparison.

May have stepped up a level this year and could average 55-57 like Johnson, but even if he has, Munster seems good value at almost 200k cheaper.

SJ with an injury cloud on top of that has me wary.

Pearce with a good base in KM, but eh.. it's Pearce.

@Rippin and Tearin Butters was a member of other groups where he is not very well admired to put it nicely. A lot on here are also members of those groups. I dont mind him he has a opinion and loves his fantasy. Like everyone you dont have to take his advice if you dont want so i dont see an issue. I personally havent watched his videos so cant comment on them

Yeah that's what i thought. 51 Average is borderline keeper status when he is at HLF i guess. Could be good for a bench spot.

    659k for a potential keeper?

And granted, he was on a different storm team last year. No doubt that will affect his scores.

Nothing wrong with some other fantasy opinions and I personally don't mind the bloke but there are ways to go about it. Every single post he has made here has been advertising to his own fantasy site. No introductions, no comments on any other posts. Straight up looks like he hasn't read a single post and is just spaming links

All I'm thinking right now is, everyone is jumping on JFH this week.

Do i risk it and do something different, jump on munster or another nice POD who has dropped in price who is a potential keeper.

I'm not sold on pearce, he hasn't shown up at all yet. Performing well, but scores are rubbish.

I also like the look of Fitzgibbon and Guerra for a nice POD and Tolo has dropped a lot.

To me it also looked like he was using the stats pages from MTBs site, didn’t listen to video to hear if he credited where he got it from, if it wasn’t then it looked incredibly similar.

I think Munster is slightly below keeper tier in the halves of SJ, Cleary and DCE. If you are running 4 halves in your final 17 or if Munster ends up at fullback then I see nothing wrong with the pick. You can't have the best players are every position.

Fitzgibbon is interesting. Looks to be nailed on for big minutes on the edge and is an outstanding line runner. Pearce loves a short ball on the edge and that side is where Ponga has played 90% of his attacking football. Could be solid as a POD.

Cheers guys, I wondered if it was a personality thing with history Smile Thanks @Bullbender

@Welshy, not sure if he is using MTBs stats, he certainly plugged MTBs site a couple times though.

@multiple.scoregasms yup fair enough, that does come across a bit shit, I agree.

As for the content of his videos, they are way too long (one was > 2hours) but they are coming down in length, some of numbers he crunches are pretty woeful, he has some very strange logic sometimes.

BUT, he also presents a good amount of detail and opinion in some areas and so personalities aside I quite like to chuck the video on in the background and watch whenever something useful comes up.

Haven't watched his latest video, but in all his previous ones, Butters has used his own spreadsheet, which is pretty detailed and would have everything on mtb's site (except maybe price projections)

Renegades are spruiking mtb's site a lot though (don't seem to be claiming it as their own, they credit this forum)
