That's a tough one.  I'd be reluctant to trade him personally, but can see the concern.  I don't own him but I haven't been paying attention to his minutes and why the lowish scores the last few weeks.

Yeah his minutes are kinda all over the place anywhere from 40 to 55. Might see how he goes this week... His average is still 42.6 I think.
So arrow next week will be something like $730 to $750k?

Looks that way with a score around 50. Wow.

Team for this week (at the moment haha)

    Smith
    Arrow Lodge
    Jurbo Murray JFH
    DCE SJ
    Mitchell Isaako
    Tedesco Ponga Thompson

    Cook Kikau RFM Griffin

Captain chat has been interesting. Might shift back to Smith again though! Tempted to leave it on DCE as plan B.

Did you already have him and trade him out? Or were you one of the smart ones that held off at the beginning of the season and waited for the price drop?

That price projection makes me so happy. I was tossing up between Arrow at 409K, Watson at 401K and K.Sims at 490K. I guess I chose the right one!

You can now add DCEs 91 to the list of halfbacks that have scored very well against the Titans. That average is easily over 50 maybe even 60 over the first 5 rounds.

Up next..... James Maloney! Give the man the armband Balls

If I didnt have Smith I'd be too pig headed to bring him now. Likely consider him after Origin. Essentially, backing the decision to either run without him or to have traded him out. My stubbornness gets me in trouble though

    Would anyone have any suggestions for my team;

    Smith
    TPJ Arrow
    Murray Griffin RFM
    MBye Maloney
    Mitchell Isaako
    Teddy Ponga Thompson

    Cook Rochow Lodge Kikau

    Whitehead Havilli Kennar Croker

    72K in the bank.

Thinking just a single trade of Whitehead to either Cotric, Pearce, Guth or JFH, bit undecided and didn't really want to double trade if I could help it, but will be forced to if I want to bring in a gun.

I don't see him getting a whole lot cheaper than what he already is. I started with him (meaning that I had to hold through the price dip as I was never going to trade him out) but those who didn't can jump on him now or after origin. I guess it kinda depends on what the rest of your roster looks like (whether you need another hooker) and whether or not you think he's in your final 17.

If youre happy with having whitehead outside of your 17 (assuming this is how you'd line up this week if you went 0 trades) id suggest bringing in anyone for whitehead that serves a better purpose in your team. Wasted cash and spot ATM.

Think youre looking on right track, strengthening your Halves or Ctrs. Im assuming you mean JFH not RFM to bring in, as you already have him listed?

    Have you banked many trades?

I think I'll pull the trigger and bring him in, one less trade to worry about later. Saves 100k from his original price and he isn't going to get too much cheaper (unless there's another 23!)

Are you trading for money purposes or points purposes?? Whitehead is up against the Eels this week and with the return of Gutho at FB, French onto the wing and Kane Evans there shouldn't be any shuffling so he should sit and stay at 2RF all game. Maybe hold one more week to see how Cotric, Gutho, Pearce go? Cotric may not even get that FB spot, Gutho - well who knows after an ACL and Pearce has had 1 good game so far.

What would you lads do with this lot? Kinda stuck between max trading or not trading.

    Smith
    Kikau, Lodge
    Murray, Arrow, RFM
    DCE, Walker
    Aitken, Hiku
    Teddy, Ponga, Thompson

    Cook, Griffin, Rochow, Havili
    Maloney, JMK, Isaako, Kennar

Have 126k in the bank. Perhaps Isaako > Basement, if one miraculously shows up?
Would like to get JFH though

Yeah, I just changed that, meant JFH. I have 28 trades remaining, so I think that means I've banked 2. Whitehead was just out of the 17 last week. I did a loophole with him which obviously was a good move and didn't play him. His constant shifting around is too hard to rely on and doesn't have the attacking plays like TB's and offloads normally to get massive scores without tries.

I know they are all unknowns. I'm torn on Whitehead, but I mainly look at value at this early point of the season. I'm thinking a trade to JFH is the easy trade and bank heaps of coin. Not sure what else is worthwhile.
