Same here
I have Murray in spot 17, Isaako in spot 18
If Isaako scores well I won't change a thing, otherwise I'll swap Murray with Gosie before the Rabbitohs game.. simple
Is it strange I read this in the meerkats voice.

Mitch Rein memes aside, a lot of talk about Tlolo and Surgess this week. I'm getting C. Smith personally. I don't think he's gonna be cheaper than he is right now.
Would rather take another week looking at Tlolo to make sure he is actually an elite keeper again this year. No doubt he's a keeper, but he's still a bit expensive if he's not a 55+ average player for the rest of the year.

Yes he is a chance however with Freddy as coach any decent NRL player who is eligible for NSW is a chance. Freddy has mentioned players like Joel Thompson and JAC as being a chance for origin...MilfordTheMagician wrote:Isn't Crichton a chance for Origin?

Everyone is entitled to post exactly what and how they want, within the parameters everyone is aware of.
My personal viewpoint is I much prefer coming in here and reading pages and pages of input from people FAR MORE than reading comments from posters complaining about other posters.
No one can ever take this away from me!!!
Except DK that is, cos it's actually his if he ever gives me an address.

Agreed, but with a 53 BE I'm happy to wait until he does go huge.

Wouldn't you sleep better at night knowing you made an educated choice based on stats rather than gut feel on when a player might go huge? As someone else alluded to above, his BE is 53 so worth another a look this week.

Its over fellas. I have recently moved into the far north Burbs of Brissy and with not working that day I have decided to not attend tomorrow nights match.
This will be the first Broncos home game I have missed since Ashton Sims ended our season in the 2008 Semi Final against the Storm.
End of an era.

Probably not a consideration this week, but if you are like me and have Maloney and Rein, you'll want to start building up a bit of a warchest. These guys have an expiry date and will need upgrading/cashing out as soon as Cleary/Peats come back. Can't be certain that there will be available cashies, do banked money for upgrades seems wise.

I dunno dude. My guts keep me awake at night. Anything that settles them is good by me!
Also, as I've said a couple of times on here, the general use of stats is pretty poor in Fantasy. Take the dummy runs stat: how is that meant to translate into points? How has it worked in previous seasons? Is there a trend over time for 9-fingers? Are there changing coaching strategies driving it? Was it part of a injury-management program, or targeted at a series of specific players? How will it exhibit in future outings?
It is perfectly fine to have diverging opinions about all of those points. Claiming that a raw, un-controlled-for, statistics supports only one single educated POV is probably a bit strong.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 32
My 2 cents on the gos v rein v sua situation.
Sua having the lowest be, atleast 2 months worth of guaranteed role with 60 to 80 mins and solid stats based on previous seasons is a lock.
Gos - bad ppm/fantasy numbers historically. Although with the 80 min edge role he seems like he could average 25 to 35 and therefore make good cash. Also the cheapest option. Good pick but not for me.
Rein - highest price and a be that he shouldn't smash. Also riskiest in terms of job security. A definite wait and see for me.
Bringing in taumalolo and sua for croker and merrin. Fingers crossed! Lolos bottomed out, coming off a big world cup it's the perfect time to get him IMO.
From a footy perspective the 2 great runs Lolo and sua had last week showed great signs.
