As Milchy has said, Lane was looking like becoming an awesome footballer a few years ago. He was hit and miss last year and at a quick glance his base stats output seems to deteriorate over longer spells. Smallish sample this year though. I love watching him so he is on the cusp of getting a run in my trousers.

430k starting second rower; can play 80; excellent mid term job security; loves a meaty. I actually think I might watch Lolo for another week and maybe sneak Lane in now Very Happy

As far as comparing outputs with Haas, I think the chances Haas averages more then Lane all things being equal are quite slim with the minutes he looks like getting.

Who to send home first - Godinet, Rochow or Kennar? Got 593k in the bank after going brown --> fonua. But all 3 are losing money however leaning towards one of the tigers due to kennars injury? Thoughts appreciated, cheers

Blacktown so bad Wright got dropped from 5/8 to centre. No way he gets gig for Manly. Maybe comes in at CTR. Watched Blacktown vs Canterbury on TV on weekend and Hastings was useless so can't see either getting the spot

Yeah, the thing that gets me is the rotation policy at the broncos now. Niko on the bench could mean time at dummy half (although i think unlikely) and then Macca to lock?

TPJ won't go close to McGuires minutes you would think. And with Lodge battling injury, and Sims a bludger, Paas looks like the type to have more minutes made available to him. Plus all that hype.

Then again, capewell falls in between those two and has dpp which takes care of the centre cover Isaako provided

Yeah looks like they registered Suli's first grade contract so he'll play and DWalker at 6.

Godinet looks like getting big minutes this week, good for your Fantasy Team but not for the Tigers. Rochow plays round 13. Kennar is injured for 1-2 weeks but when he comes back he might bleed cash with a few inept scores wingers are capable of. Take the money and run, I doubt he will make more cash when he comes back

I contemplated bringing Norman in, but decided to use the cash from my Cogger trade for an upgrade to a gun down the track. Norman might get back to gun status, but 2 games of good scores don't make a gun

I want to get Latrell in for Hiku/Isaako but will he play Origin now with Dugan likely missing?

I don't think Dugan was getting picked by Freddy anyway. I started with Latrell and I'm not counting him in my R13 numbers as I think he gets picked

With no McGuire you'd think macca shifts back to lock when niko comes on or bird goes to lock and niko to the halves.

I rekon Capewell is a waste of a trade. Plenty of other occasions he has been named to start but shifted back to the bench. You may get two good score but when Gal, Lewis come back you'll be scrambling to trade him before he loses cash

Can go Gossie > Lane in one trade, or just downgrade to Cogger.

    Thoughts lads?

Lane if you need to play him, Cogger if you don't.

How much do we see Lane gaining in value if he gets 50+ mins? If I bring in Cogger and Lane for Thompson and Gosiewski I have 2 cows plus 160k cash, sound decent?

Lane started 7 times in the back row last year, averaged 42 points from 74mins which would give him a price of approx 630K
Stats wise he averaged roughly 34 tackles (3 missed) 1.5 tackle breaks and about 80m

I owned him last year and he can be a little frustrating to watch at times, but has big potential and perhaps this is his year.
Seeing him this year he looks to have improved a bit more and has that big score in him though with Manly he may have the odd small score to balance it out
For the price you are paying for him though he is worth a gamble if you want someone to fill in your 17 for a while.
