Here is Brimson's ISP stats this year

    https://www.qrl.com.au/players/intrust-super-cup/tweed-heads-seagulls/alexander-brimson/

interestingly, 4 games at five-eighth - all losses.
3 games at fullback - all wins, scored a try in each one

What's the BE on each? What's the avg over the last 3-5 games. I would take TPow based o that. Tolo later based on BE and last few weeks score.

BE only really matters if you plan on getting them both in eventually.

If you are trying to choose one or the other, then primary consideration is how many points they'll score between now and round 25. Secondary consideration is price and if you can afford it.

Brimson can be a slow burn for me. Bringing him in at that price enables my to get 2 keepers the way my team is set. Surgess next week and Macca when his price bottoms out. Smile
It's a bit the reverse of people trading out Arrow and RFM to get keepers because that works for their team. I'm not trading either of them but I would encourage as many others as possible to do so. Very Happy

Pretty concerned about Brimsons job security. Elgey reportedly had a very good game in q cup after being dropped. I think hes rubbish, but there's every chance he comes back in to the team in two weeks time. Especially if the Titans keep losing.

Best way to go with my guys? Few obvious points of weakness are Arrow, and Murray.

    Smith
    Kikau, Fifita
    RFM, Murray, JFH
    DCE, Matterson
    Aitken, Hiku
    Ponga, Teddy, Walker

    Cook, Maloney, Havili, JMK
    Thompson, Sorenson, Martin, Arrow

    21 trades, 16k and currently ranked 29th.

Atm thinking of Thompson > Brimson that will leave me with 300k.
Was hoping to use JMK to grab a gun but leaves me 20k short of Burgess.
Could use Maloney/Havili to get Tolo.

Or keep both and take the chance on moving Murray out.

    Thoughts wise ones

Ain't going near Brimson. Got fucked good and propper by Coggar last week, no way I can go through the pain again.

Oh, and sorry I started the Michael Bolton references.

If I decide to keep Thompson, I'm going to play Isaako over him.

Agree on Brimson, the Titans will get pumped against the Storm, and if they lose against the Knights/Roosters after that they'll just throw in another half like Elgey and hope that does the job. Or maybe after 1 or 2 weeks in the reserves they trundle Carty back in.

Understand the cash out though. What about Lamb? I'll give him one look this round... sucks that I got Cogger last week tho...

Would anyone keep Brooks? I was tempted to cash out last week, currently 685k and falling.

Just thinking he might be able to stay in the 600s until rd 14, and become a great stepping stone for SJ.

I think Murray will play 50+ minutes and score 50+. Seibold has plenty to work with now. Sam could spend some time on the right edge or prop rotation with Sutton getting a rest and less minutes for Tatola and Nichols. The last time they all played together in Round 3, Sam played 70 minutes, so did Murray, Sutton 53. Clarke is in the mix now. Tatola, Nichols and George had reduced minutes. That was the game they flogged Manly. I don’t see too much changing. Maybe Sam getting a few less minutes coming back. I wouldn’t be selling Murray this week under any circumstances. This is a big game. Murray’s a keeper imo.

What about that TItans prop Fotuaika? Scored 38 on the weekend. At 238K, could be a ballsy punt as a cashout.

How likely do we think it is that Cogger will get another go? Just realised that I can go Arrow to Martin and Cogger to Tolo with not a dollar to spare, pull the trigger?

Judging from the commentary in his debut game he's well loved at the club/playing group.

They did get a couple of injuries that would've boosted him minutes, but I thought the guy showed enough to justify selection for the time being.

Thanks all for discussion on tolo vs taupau. I've tossed about trading out murray and/or arrow, but ultimately uncomfortable at doing so just yet. Think both are keepers, and murray in particular is just one burgess brainsnap away from more minutes

gone thompson to ray martin and jetski to tolo. gonna sleep on these and then rollback and do it all again tomorrow.
