I am pretty convinced he will keep a place in that team somewhere for the near future. Ivan was talking him up in the post-match press conference.

Ivan is a great man-manager. He knows what to say to the player and knows what to say to the press to get the best out of the player.

Naiqama is a lock in the 17. Thompson or Tui will play fullback and that's most likely Thompson.
Marsters seems to be a lock in the centres.
The other two spots are between Nofo, MWZ and Fonua. I wouldn't be betting any of them having a spot sewn up.

My favourite thing about Fonua is his work off the ball. You see him running back to position. You see so many other players across the league walk to get back onside or walk laterally to get back to their spot in the line when they're on offence. Mahe is always showing intent.

I'll possibly have to decide between a benched Rein vs Brimson in my 17 this week. Thoughts?

I could reverse him but I kinda want the bloke. Not so much for his points, just as a base price cash grab ready for bupgrades next week. I'm still also holding Dugan and Soro at the moment tho so what would I know! Haha

Issac Luke ruled out for @NZWarriors this weekend after suffering dislocated shoulder last round. Most return in 3-6 weeks, but Luke was reportedly close to playing so wouldn’t be surprised if he returns in Rd11

When your desperate for Linnett to return you know times are tough. He is a good defender but in attack, meh. He is better then O'Neill but that does not say much.
