    JMK > Lamb
    Havili > Fitzgibbon

    Cook
    Fifita, Arrow
    Taumalolo, Fitzgibbon, RFM
    DCE, Matterson
    Aitken, Hiku
    Teddy, Ponga, Walker

    Smith, Murray, JFH, Kikau
    Lamb, Martin, Brimson Sorenson

Hopefully this lot can see me through to post Rd13.
Hopefully Sorenson to a cow provides the funds to move Murray/Kikau/JFH to guys like Surgess/Macca/Harris.

    Time will tell

I just need Cleary & Peats to have minor setbacks this week so Maloney & Rein get 1 more game.

Cracked the tonne this week with 1008 and am now sitting in 1st place cheer

Don't know what trades to do this week. I don't have DCE where most of the other top teams do so that hurts me when he does well. But now is probably a bad time to get him? I've been avoiding him for this long in the hope of getting SJ instead but he's always broken.

I was also considering Crichton but it seems like chasing last week's score too much. I was watching him a few weeks back knowing that a big score was coming but don't know how often he'll do it again.

Well done mate. I'm taking a punt on Fitzgibbon I think

He's another one I've been looking at. I really like the way he plays. Owning Knights players always scares me though. Does anyone know if his 53 minutes in round 8 was due to injury or just random subbing? That's the kind of thing that concerns me with Browny.

You kind of want both in your team at the end really, but even though Fifita will have reduced minutes when the rest of the troops come back, he's still scoring over 80 points with no tries.  I think he's still worth the price tag, but only just.  If Smith avoids suspension somehow and Arrow is back, I can get Fifita easily and it's happy days.

You definitely want both at the end but I guess I'm pointing out that the end is essentially now for overall players. Should be rounding into an almost complete 17 in a round or two. Fifita is a great player and would be in an ideal team but he's 100k extra. If that extra cash means you have to play a cash cow over a gun then Fifita isn't worth it. Loving the efforts he's putting out but I hardly think this is his new normal.

Whereas if your end is H2H there is no rush. Just guess I'm pointing out if you are buying now your final team is more expensive (but will score more). Think DCE a few weeks ago at 860k ish is now 750k ish. Yeah he scored well during that time but other options (Maloney, Reynolds) were just as solid.

Congrats mate, thats an awesome score and well done on being in first.

Im with you on Crichton man. I've been watching him thinking he will be a guy to own soon. I was always gonna be happy enough to wait till he bottomed out in price and I knew that would mean missing out on a big score, but the guys looks the goods and so I reckon he'd be a good pick up for you.

Can you turn Rein and JMK into Crichton and a cash out who plays 13?

I'd also consider dumping Smith if he gets done for 2 weeks, although Im not sure he will. Macca looking like a good option given his price.

I don't think its a big problem not having DCE at this stage. You have two guys scoring well in your halves and both play 13 so I think you are ok there.

    Good luck.

Thanks for the advice, mate. I really appreciate. Both of those options are ones I have been considering. JMK and Rein are definitely on the chopping block. But was thinking the suspension may be a good excuse to get rid of Smith. He was not very reliable during the Origin period last year. But the Storm aren't really going well enough to rest him this year so who knows what will happen this year. Not that many of the top teams own him, so it might hurt more to hold him?

I'm a little bit off a final 17 at this stage. Too many mid rangers and looking for cows, but have 21 trades so can start double trading. I can still get Fifita and not have to play a subpar player IF Smith gets off, and Arrow comes back. If Smith doesn't get off it means playing Isaako again. I could skip Fifita for the time being and go Crichton instead perhaps, not sure yet.
