What's everyone hoping for in TLT?
If Kennar returns, that would be nice.
If Arrow is named to start I'll be happy.
If Murray is promoted from the bench, I'll be ecstatic.
I won't actually be ecstatic, I will however expect a higher amount of fantasy points from him.

Risky mate... Cleary coming back from a decent injury and has a rather large BE. I don't think he'll hit it for a week or two. I also don't think that Koro is a season keeper... You have kooker cover on the bench in Havili, don't think you necessarily need to bring Koro in for that at the moment. That being said, I don't have a problem with either of these trades being made. It's just that it is a risk, and one that you should be aware of. I also feel that if Peats and Cleary are named then they are pretty definitely a soon to or urgent sell.
If you're not worried about the money then jump on Cleary. He's gonna be a keeper anyways and at times it's important to consider the points garnered and trades saved from jumping on a keeper. But at least Cleary is actually going to be a keeper, I'm not sure the same can be said for Koro.
Cheers @Mearcats. Always appreciate the help! I'll have a longer think about those trades through the week.

Whilst I'm hoping Arrow is back, I'm still a little nervous about his minutes after what looked like a pretty big injury and no word from the club about it.filthridden wrote:What's everyone hoping for in TLT?

I would like to have Arrow back, Martin to stay in the starting side, Murray at lock, Brimson to FB haha.

If Arrow strings together 2 x 50 point games and doesn’t get selected for Origin then that would be perfect. Drops some cash, can bring him back in Round 14. Ah yes, the dream. He’ll score 90+ this week haha

Best TLT outcomes.
Arrow in (but plays reduced minutes)
Fonua in (Claw learns to get out of the way)
Peats Out (or in with reduced minutes)

Help please:
Maloney or Rein to AREY.
Will have to play who ever I don't trade out. Leaning towards Maloney out.

Rein has a lower BE so less risk there, Peats also isn't a certainty to be named this week.Fortitude wrote:Help please:

Assuming he is named, both Cleary or Peats could play reduced minutes coming back from injury. That could mean Maloney takes the reins in the second half and earns those sweet sweet points, but I still don't see him hitting his BE. Rein on the other hand, even if he gets a 15 minute stint, could easily hit is BE at the moment. That would be my call.
Also Cleary is a freak of nature and will probably hit 100+ this week (no Panthers bias I promise )

That's what I was thinking. Thanks.

Rikki-Lee Arnold
@RikkiLeeA
Shibasaki appears to be in line to make his #NRL debut, training as part of Brisbane’s “bench”. Mago and Tagataese also on bench. Bird training with reserve grade but as “no contact”. Struggling with sternum injury. Opacic left centre, Roberts right centre. @cmail_sport
I'm guessing they will leave Bird out under the guise of injury.

You know you've ballsed up when you rush to get your final 17 and you manage to get a keeper back line before you settle on your pack. Now I don't think ill have the cash generation to do the trades I want later in season. (Kikau > Arrow, RFM > Surgess, Havili > Harris/Fitz etc)
Team, with keepers bolded.
Cook
Fifita, JFH
Jurbo, RFM, Murray
Dce, Arey
Jcroker, Aitken
Teddy, Ponga, RTS
Smith, Havili, Kikau, Rein
Fonua, Hiku, Martin, Nichols

Who do i choose
Tapine (had him before his injury so rate highly this year)
Harris (take out the injury game and his avg is great for his price)
Mannering (will he reach the heights of previous years with his bench role, will he get back to 80min)

Harris (take out the injury game and his avg is great for his price) Value Value Value
Mannering (will he reach the heights of previous years with his bench role, will he get back to 80min) Haven't seen enough to make me want him in my team. More of a personal thing
Harris>Taps>Mannering.

I think Mannerings time as an 80min middle forward is over.

@Mearcats Sorry I missed the earlier train. Could you please share some of your thoughts?
(@Wolfking shout out for always helping out too, we seem to always have similar teams lol)
Cook
Arrow Kikau
Harris Taumalolo JFH
DCE Maloney*
Mitchell Isaako
Ponga Phillips JMK*
RFM* Rein Murray TPJ*
Martin Smith Sorenson Cogger
$772k 18 trades
Tossing up who to bring in atm. I probably need to bring in keepers each round, so that'll be 8 trades.
Pretty set on Turbo because I need to sort out my WFB. Other options are Fifita, Crichton/Hess, ARey. Fifita takes a massive chunk out of my bank, and compromises my future trades. The other 4 I'm paying a good price for. I'm thinking I wait on Fifita until my team is sorted just because I'm deficient in so many positions.
As always, cheers mate
