I hope Smith gets two weeks and Havili plays 80 for that time period.

I thought Jack Williams was good on debut for the Sharks yesterday. Obviously not fantasy relevant, at least not this year. But I look forward to the day when both of the Sharks' players named Jack Williams play in the same game, and the stats guys spontaneous combust from the confusion.

Widnes Vikings once had both Julian O'Neill and Julian O'Neill playing for them

I was going to say I hope it's in a game against the Panthers and both Sione Katoas play, but that would work too.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread part 42
anybody else have a gut feeling that Fonua could wind up a keeper centre?
His record when playing with the Storm is terrible, but he looks so different these days.
Plays with a lot of determination and strength, hungry for the ball.
And don't get me started on dat mullet....

All of a sudden the NRL App starts adding scores differently for no reason at all? Seems odd.

You'd think hes dropped this week for Naiqama.
Wasn't that the original plan before Naiqama pulled out for family reasons

Cleary would have to be mad. Fonua got MOM, and that left edge tore the cowboys to ribbons.
Hard to tell if the onus of this is on the Cowboys playing poorly or the Tigers well, but though both is the obvious answer, I suspect the latter had the most significant effect on the former.
...Did I mention the mullet yet?

He wasnt supposed to play. But ended up winning man of the match. Dont know how you drop him after that game.
Hes probably always going to be on the fringe though.
Ill probably play him over JMK this week.

I have no room for him this week. Lamb and a gun under 780k is the priority.

Is it worth going to J. Trbojevic or should I look at getting McCullough/Crichton. They are cheaper, and no origin. Also makes it more likely I can snap up Fifita at some stage.
Fifita really is a dream for my team right now.

By the way lads, have all of you that are unhappy with this years format taken the time to feedback to the people that run this thing?
I just did because I decided it would be my last season if things were not sorted, but also decided that just moaning about it without actually informing them of why Im leaving was a waste of bloody time as well.
I encourage anyone that cares enough to voice your opinions and let these guys know why you are unhappy with the format. Then at least you have done something.
In short I basically just said I think they need to restructure things so that the loophole is not possible anymore, suggested that moving away from rolling lockout but keeping ranked subs would be the way to go.

I've realised that my trades will push JMK out of my side anyway, thank fuck. Prick will probably dive over for a try now he's gone.

Really need to bring in a gun half for Maloney. Is bringing in Reynolds walking on thin ice or go for the safer bet in DCE?
I'm only H2H and most people have DCE so leaning towards Reynolds as a POD.
Cheers lads.

I want to give JMK one more week. Hopefully he does some scooting but I know he has a game plan to stick to. So many missed opportunities for easy metres

Crichton or Surgess are probably worth it for the bye. I wouldn't be too concerned with missing JTurb atm

949 for the round. Well please with that but not enough to hang on to first. That 'forward' pass to Cotric costing me!
I want to give JMK one more week but I could bring in TTurbo for Rein..... and push JMK out of my 17. Sooooo tempting

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread part 42
With Hodkinson apparently joining Manly soon, getting DCE in is a bit risky, right? Will take away some kicking and 5th tackle options?
I'm thinking about ditching SJ, but will need to go to a guaranteed gun, already have Arey. I guess Matterson is worth looking at. Other option is hold him, and trade Maloney to a DPP, so he can move down as a keeper once SJ is back.
Mbye vs Walker vs Koro? Similar players really, can go big or flop a bit. Mbye kicking goals and already having Arey has me leaning his way. Koro can cover Cook for origin though.
OR... Watson, as a utility/mid range cow cash out, to cover the next couple months to fill SJ and Cook.
Shit so many options. Watson is ringing my bell a little ATM, would leave me with $200k next week to play with.
