About Fonua getting dropped. Anyone else with their tin foil hats think this might be a means of dropping him following a good (and public) performance?

Also, means he is more unlikely to force his way back into team with out injury?

I know they may seem wasteful but I think both Knights halves are undervalued by 120k at least.

    JMK > Watson
Sorenson > Lamb leaves me 17 trades and 70k.

    Cook
    Fifita, Arrow
    Taumalolo, Matterson, RFM
    DCE, Watson
    Aitken, Hiku
    Teddy, Ponga, Walker

    JFH, Kikau, Lamb, Havili
    Murray, Martin, Brimson, Smith

Gives me one more week to watch JFH, Kikau, Murray, Havili, RFM before making anymore decisions.

Thoughts on wether this is viable or do I need to make a decision on one of my borderline guys?

    Cheers

Not really, they'd probably use a different excuse if they wanted to do that. Everyone in the team would know whether he was actually an hour late to training. Would seem odd to blatantly lie about that.

Not ideal for him to be out of the team, may be hard to get back. Odd that as soon as Naiqama missed a week there were Super League rumours about him, no idea if there was any actual weight to them though.

Didn't see Brimson on the weekend but I'm tempted to get him and play him this week. I cannot tell you why but I feel like he might grab a try and score 50 or so.

Why Watson over Lamb? Priced much cheaper and should make cash just as quickly until Pearce is back.

    S. Burgess + Brimson

    or

    T. Harris + Lamb

I'm pretty sure I'm grabbing him. but its more because I need the cash than the need to have him in my team

won't be playing him (depending on fitness test for guys like RFM and whoever else is in doubt this week)

I’m trading AJ to Rein next week simply for a cash out. Be good if he does start posting gun scores though

Same here Milch. He's gonna make more money than Soro who I'm trading for him, plus he provides WFB cover which I haven't had for about 3 weeks. I wasn't going to trade this week but I think the one trade is wise.

Soooo lettts goooooooo! (Also you are considering two upgrades this week and two again next week. How much cash do you have.

Here are your main trade out options:

So Maloney is a must trade imo. BE of 40 and highest score with Cleary being a 27. Unless you think Cleary is getting reinjured (Which you shouldn't rely on) He will lose cash this week. So you're right in trading him out. ARey fixes your halves, you could grab Cleary or Matterson. Matterson is probably the least injury concern wise. Unless you want that PoD in Arey.

Kikau/RFM/Murray/TPJ can all wait a week imo. They are heavily owned, not losing much cash, with great potential. Murray is probably worse off as he is less likely to have a massive game off the bench than say Kikau. Either way I would hold them both this week.

Isaako/JMK have capped out unless they have a big game, but aren't losing cash. So you could trade them this week, without too much of an issue.

Cogger/Sorenson aren't doing anything for your team. I would trade one of these guys out this week. If you can for the WFBs you mentioned or for a 2RF you mentioned. Fifita is the best option then probably Tedesco. I wouldn't go Trbojevic yet he is a wait and see with the recent slump.

Thanks for the reply! I think I'll take your advice reference Maloney and keeping Kikau et al. My reason behind not trading Soro and Cogger is using the bank to get in guns. Other option is to nerf them, but that means using trades so essentially I'm left with 8 as back up.

I have $772k pre-trades and if I trade ARey and Crichton in that leaves me $610k. That allows me to upgrade Rein and JMK to Teddy + Turbo (cost of $300k), and later Kikau and Fifita for a cheaper Matterson and Fifita (This will be the tight trade). That leaves me 10 trades, 0 cash and:

    Cook
    Arrow Fifi/Next best
    Harris Tolo Crichton
    ARey DCE
    Mitchell Isaako
    Ponga Teddy Turbo

    Smith Matterson JFH Murray

Martin Cogger Phillips Soro (These players to upgrade Isaako and any of the starters)

Is my thinking sound?? If not, I'll follow your advice verbatim.

Still 280k left in the bank after this weeks upgrades
Looking at doing something like Havili>Cleary or JMK>Tedesco/Mannering/Gallen/Tturbo/Harris
This is how the squad is shaping up so far

    Cook
    Fifita Arrow
    Murray RFM JFH
    DCE Arey
    Croker Hiku
    Ponga Mbye Dufty

    Surgess Havili Martin Su'a

    Smith JMK Brimson Cogger

Yeah I like both trades to get the cash in the bank. Sitting on everyone for a week is fair enough option as most people have them. Your team is looking pretty stacked at the moment.

Am I crazy for thinking of tossing Kikau before Maloney?

You'd think Cleary and Maloney would split everything a little more first week back.

On another note Im sold on Reynolds and Crichton but still, Lamb and Fifita are options Im weighing up too which seems solid.

I'm hoping they will at least make 150k between them. Watson might settle near the 600k mark, and Lamb around the 550k mark which should be a combined 330k increase if things go middle of the road. At least they are easier trades to guns.

    Is that a sound estimation?

His BE is 41, in 3 of the 8 games without Cleary he didn't hit it. In his 3 games with Cleary his best was 27.

Meanwhile Kikau in his first 3 games averaged 40 minutes and scored above his BE in two of those games.
