It's not like people can't see it if they wanted to anyway! No trades this week to report yet as I still don't know what I'm doing. The devil on my shoulder still wants me to dump Cook
I don't usually ask for much advice but it's good to hear what other people would do with my team to see if there's something I hadn't thought of.

@ zora I would keep Cook and I thought trading JFH to NSmith might be an option? Back from injury and the trade is for an outright gun that you will keep to the end. Cashing out JMK is probably worth doing as he is not going to make more cash. What do you think about JMK to Douehi instead of Brimson to milk more cash, probably some decent bonus points this week and a cheapie who might just prove handy down the road?

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 48
Did anyone else read Lloyd Perretts article on Players Voice? Quite interesting. And really points out what a shitdude hasler was.
In short:
- hasler got lloyds brother sam to do his dirty work re pushing lloyd out.
- the dogs DIDNT ALLOW perrett to play any footy for months until after june 30. Lloyd assumes this is because they didnt want him getting hurt for prospective buyers. He was given no reason at all.
-des also told him, after signing a four year deal, that he wouldnt play first grade for 3 to 4 years. Again, no reason given.
Edit: sorry i just realised the article is over a week old and may have already been discussed.

I wouldnt have even looked at him that hard butfor that post. I don't think i could bring myself to trade him.
Trading out CS9 was a big mistake
In the same post I also described Brodie Croft as a must have, so umm, yay me.
(Kalyn Ponga and RFM were the other 2 I mentioned as good value this year, so it wasn't all bad)

Hi DaGold. I'm sure you're right about Cook. I have no real need to do silly things.
I'm considering Douie or TMM as my cheapie for this week. Just don't know who is going to score me more points. Brimson or similar would be next week.
Not sure who NSmith is, did you mean NBrown? I'd love to have him in my team if he's fit. He was in my team all pre-season but got switched to JTurbo last minute which turned out to be a good move. I wish he came back last week so I could have watched for a week first. My watch for a week if unsure tactic has worked pretty well this year.

Position you are in mate, safest play if Cook is that itchy for you is waiting on R14 to see if he backs up or not, if he doesn't get McInnes in for himzorasdomain wrote:

Just had a thought
If Doohickey moves into the halves and Walker to the back then it probably puts the brakes on Arey going massive in the KM stat and probably also lowering Doohickeys ceiling

Yep! On my second last night shift for another 12 months and I've just been walking around weighing it up all night. Trading Cook just suits my team.
Did I see you having second thoughts while I was catching up on the thread?

reconsidering getting both Friend and Wade though, probably only 1 and getting Doohickey in as the extra cash allows Cogger - McInnes without a further downgrade

STUPID PIECE OF SHIT EELS CANT SORT THEIR INJURY TIMELINES AND SORT SHIT AT ALL. FUCKING USELESS FUCKS CAN'T JUST TELL ME WHEN HE WILL BE BACK. INSTEAD I GET STUCK WITH THE FUCKING LUMP IN MY TEAM FOR 7 WEEKS. FUCKING TAUPAU SCORED 435 FUCKING POINTS WHILE THIS GUY WAS ON THE PINE! FUCK I COULD HAVE EVEN TRADED HIM TO DUGAN WHO GOT INJURED AND STILL CAME BACK BEFORE HIM. FUCKING DUGAN. DUDE WAS SUPPOSE TO BE TOUGH, FUCKING JAI ARROW IS TOUGH. FUCK YOU BROWN! ALSO WHY THE FUCK DO YOU HAVE THE SAME GENERIC ASS NAME AS THE FUCKING NEWCASTLE CAPTAIN. MAKES IT BLOODY DIFFICULT TO FUCKING SEARCH FOR SHIT ABOUT YOU. INSTEAD I GET BOMBARDED WITH... "Well the Knights are shit, Nathan Brown responds." THEY HAVE BEEN SHIT FOR AGES. JUST PUT UP A CONSISTENT FUCKING INJURY REPORT SO I DON'T LOOK STUPID FOR HOLDING HIM FOR SO LONG. SPEAKING OF FUCKING STUPID, I JUST REALISED I COULD HAVE USED CAPSLOCK THIS ENTIRE TIME, INSTEAD OF HOLDING SHIFT. FUCK. THEN I HAVE PEOPLE SAYING. "Don't think about how long you have held him. Think about how long until he returns." THAT WAS 4 FUCKING WEEKS AGO WHEN I THOUGHT HE WAS ONE OR TWO WEEKS OUT. FUCK YOU NATHAN BROWN.
Seriously though, I really like Brown as a player and wish him a speedy recovery, and hope he puts out an 80 points as I must be the only sad fuck with him still in my squad. I also actually like Nathan Brown the Newcastle coach as well, but shit it makes life hard when you try and search one of them up.
It's like you were inside my brain or something! He can get the fuck out if he doesn't play or even if he comes off the bench. I've structured my trades so I can punt him instead of JFH if need be!

Zoras mate, here's an idea that I thought I'd share. At the moment you have round 13 (10 players), round 17 (5 players) and Origin (6 players).
Leaving the 10 round 13 players and coming in to round 17, being the leader, you don't want to have only 6-8 players, as many teams just behind you will certainly have 5 or 6 more and your lead will be gone, so I wouldn't touch those 5 players either and build on your round 17 team. So that just leaves the 6 Origin players to play with. Personally, I don't like the idea of trading out obvious guns, only to have to bring them back (unless you have plenty of trades left) and it's impossible to predict an injury or even if players will back up or not, so the definite keepers I would want in my final 17 is, Cook, Arrow, J.Trbojevic and Tedesco. the other 2 players, Crichton and Mitchell, I think, have a lot of players similar in averages, for eg, would it matter if your final 17 had E.Aitken instead of L.Mitchell. Once you get through this round, I can imagine you will have a lot of round 13 players you won't want to keep so depending on how many trades you have left to see how many of the 12 trades you will use before round 17.
If you have plenty of trades left, then I would trade one or both Crichton and Mitchell to round 13 players. If not enough trades, then probably sit tight till this round's over.
What do you guys think? I think it's sound advice but what the hell would I know as I'm one of the ones who's kept Rochow all this time, and I don't want to give Zoras a bum steer.

mickspicks wrote:Will be interesting to see how Nathan Brown impacts Parra rotations. I assume he goes to lock again obviously, but he was playing 70 mins (3 Out of 5 games). Does Terepo slot in at prop or 2RF? When Mannah comes back, does Alvaro’s minutes decrease? I assume Manu Ma’u stays as an 80min edge forward.
I mean fair call to the Terepo owners, but you guys must admit being lucky as fuck with the Brown thing and enjoying our misery!

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 48
I held Doohickey all this time both here and VSDT. That has the benefit of not costing a trade. But the downside is he has bled all his earnings. I really expected AReyn to be fucked again by now, even though I bought him in 3 weeks ago.Welshy wrote:No Mate pretty much locked in, my wavering was on who to get in or whether to wait on Cook - McInnesSI wrote:
