And if they can then they are cooked for this bye.

    I could do
    Murray>Harris
    Fitzgibbon>James
    ARey>SJ
    Cogger+TMM>McInnes+cash out

Would be missing RTS, Milf and Luke without doing some sideways trades depending on how I'm going with injuries

This week I'm pretty keen on 3 trades and leaving 300k to make a couple of trades going into Rd14

    Havili > 212k
    Hiku > Dugan
    JFH > Surgess

    Murray > Harris
    Watson > McInnes

    Team for Rd14

    Cook
    Fifita, Arrow
    Taumalolo, Harris, Surgess
    DCE, Matterson
    Aitken, Dugan
    Ponga, Teddy, Walker

    Smith, McInnes, RFM, Kikau
    Martin, Fonua, Brimson, 212k

Will have 11 trades from this point.

How is that looking guys. I know I'm purposely missing Taupau

That team has 17 keepers that I'm happy to run for the next month and then see what unfolds. 11 trades will then allow me to upgrade RFM and Kikau if need be. If Martin disappears then I can trade him to TTurbo and move Walker to 18th man.

Brimson and Fonua just need to keep making cash and hopefully that will assist in some luxury moves post 18 or coming into the last bye.

It seems well planned in my head

Never posted my team before but now everyone can see it pretty easily I might as well.

    Cook
    Fifita Arrow
    Taumalolo Jurbo Crichton
    ARey Matterson
    Mitchell Marsters
    Tedesco Ponga Mbye

    Smith Taupau JFH Martin
    Fonua JMK GJennings Gosie

Gives me 10 for this week, pre trades.

Am 74 points ahead of 2nd.

Just looking to see what others would do this week in my position.

I would trade JFH (614k) and JMK (445k) out
bring in another gun (Nbrown 757k) for this round and maybe a cash out like panther Luai (212k round 17 cover)
which gives you an extra 133k to upgrade someone like Martin down the track

All depends on how many trades you have. 74 points ahead is about 2 extra players this round. So it might be ok to have a "no trades" round and use your remaining trades to get your round 17 numbers up to scratch.

Every year we surmise that certain origin players will be get a rest & won't back up for their club in the next round but every year all origin players do back up unless injured. They all come off the high of playing origin & for the debutants (there are a few this year) it's the biggest game of their career, are extremely fit & 2 games in a week is no problem. I've posted this before but past origin players have said they prefer playing in a club game couple of days after origin because the body feels good. It's when the game is 3-4 days after origin that they start to feel all the bumps & bruises. I see a lot of posts that Cook won't play because his game is 2 days after origin. Also people considering selling Crichton, Jurbo or Arrow. You do realise they will come off the bench in origin so they will be pretty fresh for their club games.

I’m tossing up who to captain between Tolo and Fifita. Fifita can go massive but Tolo with all the injuries may pick up a few more stats

This. Cook will play unless he is injured.

Arrow actually has niggles, but he wouldn't be playing origin if it was a big concern. Unless he comes out of it poorly I'm sure he will play too.

Arrow must be gtg because he wouldn't be picked for origin if he wasn't 100%.

Arrow was in beast mode for the first 60 minutes last week, then got hooked. Thought he was going to crack another 70. I think that was his injury management kicking in, although he got 80 mins the week before? Could have a minor niggle we don't know about.

Can't see him getting much more than 30 Minutes in origin, but backing up on Friday will be tough. Can see him being benched in the 2nd again.

I'm probably going to captain Lolo. He's due, surely.

The coach said they had to make Arrow leave the field. He wouldn't come off. They wanted to look after his niggles. Conspiracy theory in me says it was because of Origin... but who knows.

Could I please grab a hand? I'm really stuck on what to do here.....

    I currently am thinking:
    JFH --> Taumalolo
    Lamb --> TMM
Havili --> Koro (could also be DCE or Ponga. I'd prefer having Ponga long term but I want a hooker this week)
    Sorenson --> ???? (Maybe Radley?)

I'll have 10 trades left after all 4 this week.

For those who don't have a lot of trades. Which, judging by a few posters frequent trade proposals, id say there are a few. ID be really careful trading out a few players that play rd17 (havili, kikau, JFH etc). Unless you're bringing in legit keepers that aren't playing SOO. you don't want to decimate your rd 17 stocks for the sake of 30points, that and wasting trades which are going to be rare after SOO

Yeah I wouldn't go sideways on trades to get points for round 13, you'll lose them anyway in round 17. With 10 trades, you'll want solid low/mid range cows who you can play, or keepers really.

Soro to Radley, don't see the merit. Maybe Olive is a better choice, but he won't get you any points this round. Friend instead of Koro would give you $100k to actually upgrade Lamb, and get a Wade Graham or whatever if you need an 18th/19th man.

Kurt Mann is a cash out option IMO, will cover Hunt for origin probably, and is a regular on the bench. R17 player, could even fill in for Widdop if he misses a game or 2 in Denver.

Really, only Taumalolo. My team is already stacked with keepers but none playing this round. I regret investing in them so early because origin period is going to ruin me...

    Here's my team before trades:

    Cook
    Fifi, Arrow
    JFH, Surgess, Jurbo
    Cogger, ARey
    Mitchel, Ramien
    Teddy, Turbo, Fonua

    Int:
    CS9, TPJ, Havili, Martin

    EMG:
    Hiku, Lamb, Sorenson, Gosi

With 14 trades and 261k in the bank.

That team has scored really well for me over the last month, obvious improvements needed in the halves.

So atm I'm looking at 12 this Rd and after my two Rd14 trades I'll have 8 for Rd17.

Will add 2 more to that number before Rd17

So 22 players all up should be alright I'm hoping.
