What's the go with the ex-Australian cricket captain Steve Smith telling the media that he cried for 4 days after he got banned. The likes of Victor Trumper, Don Bradman & Ray Lindwall would be turning over in their graves .

Been a bit busy while I've moved over to London these past few weeks. Anyone got any good details on how to watch the games over here and especially state of origin tomorrow?
Have tried catching up on all the threads but probably will never find the time to do it all
State of Origin is on Sky if you have a subscription, else find an Aussie or sports pub that's opening early abd showing it.
About half the NRL games are on Sky but if you want to watch all of them reliably with no shaky streams yoy need a watchnrl.com subscription, which is expensive but I've found reliable though others have had problems...

Kim Hughes would still be crying now.

Great summary mate.
I like Stimson and he 'should' be fairly safe for Rd 17 with Kaufusi playing Origin......but I foolishly traded him in to my team during an "I don't give a shit' moment earlier in the season (and subsequently had to trade him out), so I mentally may not be able to overcome that hurdle....despite the overwhelming logic.
Hardcase mate.

Most of the nrl club forums are excellent & I get a lot of info from them but no shit the Storm forums are a dead zone where you get nothing. The problem is the club never shares info. & no insiders talk. It's like every member of the Storm has taken the oath of omerta. So for example we will never know the severity of Slater's injury which would be helpful if you want to buy Hughes.

Nice break down mate. I'm in desperate need of a half and bit gun shy going all out on SJ atm. TMM might be the back up half answer as I'm holding matto.White Lightning wrote:From the team lists these seem to be the cash outs under 300k:
Stimson 286k - starting but Hoffman on bench
Staggs 274k - on bench
Olive 266k - starting with Morris 6 weeks away
Tuala 261k - starting with Hampton dropped out of 17 which I can't understand as he's been one of the Cowboys best. Has Hampton been a bad boy or just injured.
TMM 299k - starting & seems locked
AJ Brimson - ok he's 309k but I like the way he plays & is starting & locked
Sione Katoa - Panthers hooker. He is 335k but another player I like as he's a real goer. Peter Wallace seems like he'll be out for a while
Sione Katoa 215k - Sharks winger. Feki dropped for him
Mahoney 212k hok. Will debut for the Eels from the bench but could be out next week
My trades this week are:
Thompson out - Turbo in
C. Murray out - any 434k & under option (will be one of the above options) atm I like Stimson but Hoffman on the bench worries me. I also like the Panthers Katoa. I am open to suggestions. Thoughts & thanks

Sky only play three games a week.
Watch NRL is the goods but a bit expensive. Still better than paying for Premier sports in the past.
You'll find some pubs do a night replay if you can dodge the result. The Slug in Fulham does it, gets a big Aussie turnout.
Watch NRL does a free trial so that's a decent option for game one at least.

No way is WatchNRL better than premier sports mate, premier sports was half the price had all the end match shows and also had the plus of NHL and various other sports, TV and media channel, was far betterRegulator wrote:

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 50
Premier Sports was trash, didn't have any Fox shows at all, you had to deal with horrible Nine commentators and the Footy Show.
You couldn't even actually rely on them to play the full schedule at some points and their customer service is abysmal.
I don't really care that it carries additional crap like Nascar.
If you do a longer Watch NRL sub the cost balances out.

Never had a single problem with premier sports mate, showed every single game from every round and It was less than half the price of WATCHNRL which you can only watch as an online player, everything else was a bonus and like you say I don’t pay to watch the other shows just had it for NRL matches and premier sports never let me down

Except they had multiple instances where they didn't play a game or started it late.
It isn't just an online player, chromecast functionality built into the player = watching on the TV or on the go.
I do pay for the other shows, which Premier couldn't provide. I want all that NRL content. I don't care about getting Nascar or second division Swedish Hockey.
Again, if you get a long term sub it reduces the price. It is more expensive but as an offering for NRL fans it is a much better package. Every game live and on demand, all the rep games, all the Fox shows live and on demand, and you get the 24/7 Fox NRL channel. As an NRL fan it isn't even close, and no fucking mongs like Hadley on commentary. It's a lifesaver compared to the limited Premier offering.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 50
Got to be honest mate I can’t remember them missing a game on premier sports, already been a few instances where games have started late on WatchNRL this year south and dragons game didn’t play for 15 minutes and been a few instances where the previous game plays over the start of the next game, personally for me i was only interested in the games not the shows and I’m not as bothered with poor commentary like most, unless it’s fucking Eddie Hemmings in sky who makes blocker sound like Bill McLaren in comparison ! Can’t stand the cunt! I never had a problem with for multiple years with premier, with Watchnrl I didn’t do the one off because I had it rough moneywise with a full month of boozing,l at start of season so plumped for the monthly, but £22 is extortionate IMO for someone who just watches the games, premier for me had the NHL amongst others which I watched a fair bit. Different for each person mate and I’m paying it now and getting what I consider an OKAY purchase for the outlayRegulator wrote:Except they had multiple instances where they didn't play a game or started it late.
