I held the same 3. Traded Matterson though. Couldn't hold all 4.bluetige wrote:Trading out Isaako and buying Rhyse Martin last week because I had an available trade worked out well for me this week............not!
Did anyone have more then 3 players drop from team lists this week, and didn't trade them?
Martin, Cook and Crichton for me

Just did the survey and it was like reliving trauma. I'll keep going through the motions but I reckon no fantasy 2019. Only sc and vsdt

I sold Isaako this week to Tuala so I could get Turbo. Turbo didn't work out with his score of 29 but I half expected a low score coming off origin.

Turbo and Cleary will be good long term for those of us that picked them up imo. Noticed a few of the origin players struggling this week which is expected this time of the year.White Lightning wrote:

907 with my EMG Friend included, Olive to play. Would be one of my better rounds. Arrow and Burgess my only real let downs.
Val Holmes has been a gem for me, got him at his lowest $$ at about $330k, I'm probably just going to keep him until he's moved back to the wing.

With the re-emergence of C. Smith as a captaincy option it's going to be hard to choose between him & Cook going forward. Even Taupau & Taumalolo are belting out boom scores but do sometimes go bust. The hookers with their consistency are still the better option but the boom type players are still relevant if you risk it.

With my emergencies added tomorrow I should be on around 940 all done
With Cook,Crichton,Martin,Gosi all out the bench has been massively stretched (5 if you count Matterson who go traded).
The Koroisau injury hurts as my team was finally looking settled, but will just roll with the punches next week.

942 all done (once emgs are added). Currently sitting around 340th, so will be interesting to see where I end up once the emgs (Doueihi and Havili) are added

Funny round. Had so many trade options. Ended up panicking and doing zero trades. Missed all the games so far, been off fishing. Interested in options/views on the following.
Cook, why he not play? Expected return?
Nbrown? Back to his best? Bring him in ASAP?
Surgess, why so poor?
Murray, finding it hard to want to keep him.
Havili, I’ve held him this long may as well hold untill after rd17
Arrow, was one of the few players I was super keen on, him and McInnes. When do I bring arrow in?

Lot of great score this week. Well done everyone
I'm looking at around 900 which I suppose is not too bad considering the carnage of Cook, Crichton, Matterson, Martin and Koroisau happened. I just don't have that many decent replacements to deal with all that at once. Things will hopefully be looking better next week.

Cook just rested because of short turnaround. Back next week.
Brown looks like last year, wish I could fit him in my team.
Surgess has got the derp hands that his brothers have lost this year. Too many errors. I bought him last week at what I thought was his low price. Bad move. Hopefully he'll improve and earn some money back.
Arrow, I don't know what was up with him this week. I held him and he did not repay the faith this week. Hopefully just Origin hangover and will be better next week. Not sure what his BE or price will be next week. If you want both him and McInnes in your team I guess just order it by who is better value first.
Havili, I think Hodgson is due back in round 16? Not sure if he'll go straight into big minutes though.
Edit: Also on Surgess, he's been playing on an edge while Crichton has been out. With Crichton back next week hopefully he's back in the middle where he seems to score much better.

Since all my players have played my thinking switches to round 15. Who would you play:
(a) Fonua - Raiders at home is promising or
(b) Tuala - Warriors at home. The Warriors don't have a good record there because they usually make errors & have to make a lot of tackles in the heat/humidity & they fall away in the last quarter. Mind you the Cowboys are not travelling to well atm.
Cheers.

Would Fonua be against Leipana's side? With Rapana out they might be weaker?
I thought Fonua was good today. Very busy and a decentish score without a try. I think I'd play Fonua.
